[41 x 8 x 6"] I thought the Impact Boom Arm was my favorite piece of kit before I met the Lantern Softbox. The ease of setup is so amazing - just press it into the ground and hook it to the internal rod and Voila!, you have an instant softbox ready to go in 10 seconds. No fumbling with umbrella holders and trying to not destroy the umbrella before getting it into position. This is so simple and such a great engineering design. My only wish was that there was a discounted two-pack so I could have saved a few dollars. Who knows, maybe they'll listen to their fans over there at Godox!!! 5

[Collapsible] Easy to expand and collapse. I like that you can buy the optional skirt to control spread. It spreads light evenly otherwise. It's light so you can attach it to the end of a boom. The Bowens mount is a plus. The build quality is good. It doesn't have a reflector/diffusion disc inside. I haven't needed one. All around, you get great shift lighting for ambience. I highly recommend this. 5

[3.5 lb] Great for large (unfocused) soft light. The setup can be a bit tricky the first time you do it since you have to get the flexible interior poles all oriented correctly, but once you get the hang of it, it's a great and quick system. Very reasonable price for high quality 5
