Add accessories to the rear of your RED KOMODO-X camera with the Wooden Camera Cage for RED KOMODO-X Rear Rightfrom Wooden Camera. This cage piece mounts directly onto the rear right side of the KOMODO-X and provides eight 3/8"-16 and five 1/4"-20 anti-twist threads to add a variety of accessories.

The cage component also features a built-in accessory rail clamp for adding Wooden Camera Accessory Plates or a B-Box. It can be connected to the optional Left Rear Cage using two screws.

[6.3 x 4 x 2.85"] I use this cable in order to distribute weight more evenly to achieve a properly balanced RS2. Works as stated. The 36" length allows further flexibility for various rigging arrangements if you want to rig the battery farther from the camera. 5

[Aluminum] I don't understand all the negative reviews on this item. Our Komodo has been out on dozens of shoots, including multiple tv shows, music videos, commercials and feature films, and we've never had a problem with the baseplate. It feels very solid and works well. Yes, there isn't a safety pin to holds the dovetail in, but I generally find them to be irritating anyway. Just make sure to tighten it up properly and it's extremely solid. 5

[Aluminum] Great cage for the Komodo. I needed a cage that would work easily with the expansion module attached. The bottom of this cage is it’s own separate piece and easy to remove. It works well with the expansion module. Plenty of 1/4 20’s all around to mount accessories to. Two thumbs up... 5

[Aluminum] The wooden camera nato rails work just like they should and are easy/smooth to use. I tried and returned the Bright Tangerine ones because you couldn't really slide on nato devices without two hands. These work just like every other nato rail you're used to with the added benefit of being timmyribs too. 5
