Polymaker 2.85mm PolyMax PLA Filament 750g Yellowfrom Polymaker 2.85mm PolyMax PLA Filament 750g Yellowis designed as an easy-to-print filament with improved mechanical properties. Part of the PolyMax family of 3D printing filaments, PolyMax PLA is produced with Polymaker's Nano-reinforcement technology to deliver exceptional mechanical properties and printing quality.

PolyMax PLA is compatible with most of the 3D printers available on the market. Examples include the Ultimaker, Flashforge, Snapmaker, LulzBot, Raise3D, Flsun, Artillery, Anycubic, Creality, and more.

PolyMax PLA also features Polymaker's Jam-Free technology, which improves the heat stability of the filament with softening temperatures over 284°F. As a result, the filament shows minimal softening in the cold end and can melt rapidly once entering the heating zone, leading to excellent printing quality with zero risk of nozzle jams.

Please check out the below print settings and other properties, which are based on the use of a 0.4mm nozzle and the Simplify 3D v.3.1 printer.

Q: 1. hello when i try to connect via usb to my mac pro nothing shows up. any help?

A: Here are several suggestions with the point to remember the computer wants to read the MicroSD card and not the camera. 1.Make sure the card is in the camera and is properly inserted. 2 Try a different USB input. This is particularly true on laptops and it will need to be a powered USB input. 3. Use a different USB cable; any with the correct connections will work. 4. Try a different computer. 5. Get another MicroUSB card, make sure to format it in the camera and try that.

Q: 2. Where can I download the operating instructions / or manual?

A: Try the SJCAM website. The WiFi version is basically the same camera with the exception of WiFi of course.

Q: 3. Will this work with the 3DR Solo? In the Solo gimbal?

A: No. The SOLO gimbal is specifically made to attach to the GoPro body and back connection for direct connectivity to the camera.

Q: 4. Does the camera come with a battery or do I need to buy one?

A: Mine came with a battery

Q: 5. Does anyone knows how many Frames per second tho it record on 1080?.Thanks

A: It records at 30 frames/second. Quite adequate for any video. If you want to slow down motion , e.g. the catch of ball by wide receiver, then you need higher speed (but those are cameras used by TV networks...).

Q: 6. What kind of memory card does it take? Does it come with a memory card? thanks!

A: Recording Media: microSD/HC Up To 32 GB. A memory card is NOT included.

Q: 7. Is there any performance difference between the SJ4000 silver and the SJ4000 black?

A: There are no performance differences at all between the black and the silver versions. The only differences are cosmetic in nature.

Q: 8. Has anyone tested the USB webcam functionality of this camera on a Linux system? I'm wondering whether it might be recognized as a webcam device by a Raspberry Pi running the Debian 'Wheezy' operating system. Thanks!

A: SURE, BY MISTAKE I BOOTED MY COMPUTER INTO KUBUNTU 14 10 AND THEN IN FACE BOOK AND THE PERSON THAT I WAS CHATING SAW ME AND TOLD ME THAT SHE COULD SEE ME.

Q: 9. What are the dimensions of this camera?

A: Maybe 3 by 2

Q: 10. Is B&H # SJSJ4000S ($99.99) the updated version of B&H # SJ4000 ($67.94) ? One is silver and the other black; otherwise why the difference in price?

A: The manufactures create price point but the models provide the same quality.

[2.85 mm] This took two spools of yellow to create this basketball size Pac Man for my front yard garden. This yellow PLA turned out great and has weathered for about 6 months with no discoloration.

[2.2 lb] This stuff is impressive. It has a much higher tolerance for printing fine pieces. Its sand-able and workable and much more rigid than PLA. It does have some issues I'm finding joints aren't as well supported because of the fiber content versus plastic but once I engineer the model to accommodate, it works amazingly well.

[2.2 lb] This material is one of my hands down favorites. The color intensity is truly a charcoal black. To me, it beats all other silk materials because of its light diffusing properties. Its rough to the touch and doesn't have the dry time CF does. Fantastic material and I will keep buying it again and again

[2.85 mm] This gold is the same as any other, the color is vibrant and the silk effect works well. Polymaker tends to be my go-to for these types of base material colors because the material works well, and I have the least number of issues for the price point.

[Yellow] This stuff is fantastic. I don't see much of a difference in color, versus other materials of the same color but this material has had the least number of issues along with the bulk of the prints I have made with it. I tend to like polymaker in general for standard colors and base materials so, I will purchase this again when needed.
