[10 lb] The metallic finish and the semi gloss shine are simply amazing. Love this canvas.

[10 lb] I purchased a short roll of the Hahnemuhle paper, hoping to get metallic like effects for an upcoming show I am doing. OK - the big disappointment? I don't see anything vaguely metallic in the output.



However - and this is what I will call the Shyamalan Twist....it it is amazing paper. I am blown away by the beauty of the prints that are coming out. The profiles are dead-on and it is exactly what the doctor ordered. The paper is a bit pricier than my normal alternatives - but I am going to say that it may just be worth it. Its that good.

[90%] Very good for oranges/reds/yellow tones

[40 x 6.5 x 6.2"] I've only printed a couple of black and white prints on my Epson p800, but I love how they turned out. The canvas is very thick and has a nice metallic/pearl look to it.

[350 gsm] I print a lot on canvas, I've also tried most of the major brands offerings and have been satisfied. I have a favorite picture that I print on new paper or canvas so I can compare each material. Frankly this one blew me away, there is a certain radiance that the other canvas just don't have. The color gamut is amazing, the picture is rich. I realize that personal taste on such matters is a determining factor, but I recommend trying this canvas to see if it suits your needs.

[40 x 6.5 x 6.2"] Great product for the money. I am happy with the result. I would buy again.

[90%] If you have images with earth tones or a little yellow or gold, you should try this Hahnemuhle Metallic Canvas to let those colors present themselves differently from "plain" canvas. I started making "Digital Paintings in 1998 and was introduced to a glossy finished canvas by a local printer. He was good enough to give me pointers on making my own prints and I quickly realized that the image media is very important. I exhibit my work 3 or 4 times per year, and I strive to produce photography that mimics paintings while a colleague of mine makes paintings that mimic photography! As a painter, it seams you might have more latitude to make your image present the way you want, but as a photographer, it is more difficult. Being able to print my Digital Paintings on canvas is wonderful, but using this special metallic canvas gives my artwork a look and feel of something definitely not photographic.

[350 gsm] I would recommend this paper for color prints. It makes everything look like a museum piece.

[40 x 6.5 x 6.2"] The 10 ft sample roll was enough for 1-2 prints. Due to the pressure striping you lose 3-5 feet at the end, but I got enough to see the sheen. It's a spendy product but a great look and easy to stretch.
