[12.5 x 2.9 x 2"] This makes a great supplement to the 48 hexagon softbox when you want a bit more control over spill. I was surprised at how easily the Godox version goes together (easier than the Aputure alternative, which we have in another studio), and the included diffusion material and grid are easy to manage. The diffusion works as it should, and the grid is excellent for preventing spill onto backdrops. The box doesn't feel quite rugged enough for a lot of location shoots, but for fixed studio settings, this is an inexpensive option for good lighting control. 5

[0.36 lb] I was looking for a cheap grid solution for my Mola Euro beauty dish as the aluminum grids are quite dear. I also tried the grid for the S85T but it was too small. This grid fits the Euro with about 1~2” extra, which can be folded to maintain tension. All you need for this is some industrial strength loop side Velcro with adhesive backing that you can apply to the inner lip of the dish where the aluminum grid would normally sit. If you do this, don’t use hot quartz model lamps or the adhesive will melt. Cool model lamps like LEDs or none. The grid pattern on this isn’t super tight but it still eliminates a lot of spill versus the bare modifier. 5

[Yes] We started with umbrella light for green screen, but there was too much lateral light splashing on our subjects. These soft boxes generated uniform light in a more controlled fashion. And with better control it allowed us reconfigure our filming area. Great result! 5
