Multi-coating helps on round screw in photos for still photography and thinner MPTV filters, however our filters are 4mm thick which helps to prevent reflections. This filter is also made of the highest quality Water White glass. In addition, most of the time these filters are being inserted in a matte box, which also helps to prevent reflections. Tiffen has won two Academy Awards and Two Emmy's for our filters which come with a 10 year warranty, Schneider has not won these awards. In reviewing the Schneider Circular True Polarizing Filter 4x4 on their website and here on the B&H website I see no mention of this filter being multi-coated.
