Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I am currently using a nikon d700 with battery grip and a tamron 70-200mm f 2.8 would this bag fit this with a extra lens and battery or would it be too tight?

A: HI Ryan...I love this bag...but as others have said...it may be tight but it certainly is manageable! You will love this bag! I sure do!

Q: 2. Will a Nikon D750 with an 85mm prime lens attached fit? If so, will an extra small lens also fit?

A: Yes you can fit a Nikon D750 with a Nikon 85mm lens into this bag.

Q: 3. will my fuji xt4 , 50-140 lens and 16-55 lens --fit in this bag?

A: No, this bag is too small.

Q: 4. Is this bag waterproof?

A: No, the Lowepro Passport Sling III, is not waterproof.

Q: 5. What are the differences between the Sling II and the Sling III? The overall size appears to be identical. From the video and photos, it looks like the insert has been redesigned (one side removable on Sling II vs. internal divider removable on Sling III). I cannot tell if the Sling II has the dedicated space for a small tablet and the zippered mesh pocket at one end of the Sling III.

A: Hi,Sorry that I didn't answer before (I usually use a different email than the one that B+H used.)I have the sling III. It has the room for a tablet (but I was able to stuff other things there instead when I wasn't carrying a tablet) and the mesh pocket. The internal divider (removeable) has an divider so you can make two compartments or one big one. There's a small mesh pocket with a key chain.I bought this because of the additional storage possibilities. These do not make the overall bag bigger than the sling II (at least I didn't notice it while I was in the store.)This bag is awesome. Sometimes I got so much stuff in it besides the camera that it was just as good as a backpack and the ease of pulling out the camera is the best. Just a zip and out it comes. Very sturdy bag but doesn't look like a camera bag (good for urban trips) and very comfortable because it is a sling. IMO, you won't be sorry.

Q: 6. I would be carrying a Canon 50D with a battery grip, and two lenses. Anyone know, 1) if this could reasonably accommodate a DSLR with a battery grip, and 2) if you could actually carry a flash and an extra lens for a total of body, 2 lenses and flash?

A: I carry a Nikon D5300 which is a smaller body with an 18-300mm f3.5 lens with lens facing up in the bag, can also carry a flash and another lens. The width of the bag is not very wide, so may be tight for a camera with battery grip and if a large lens attached to it.

Q: 7. Can it accomodate a Nikon D810 with an attached 24-70?

A: I wouldn't recommend it. That combo is 12 inches long and would take up most of the room in the bag lengthwise with the dividers removed. You would have no room for any extra lenses or a flash, only room for an extra battery and a filter or two. If you only need this one lens and you don't carry a flash, it will work. But I recommend something larger for this combo. Try the Lowepro website. They have a bag finder app that matches your equipment to the bag(s) that will accommodate it. Good luck.

Q: 8. Will Canon EOS 7D with 15-85 IS + 50MM 1.8+ Speedlite 600EX-RT + Extra Battery will fit into it?

A: I fit a camera of comparable size and lenses in the bag - Nikon D800. You'll be able to fit the camera and either an additional lens OR a speedlite inside the bag. There is an additional pouch outside the bag. I fit a water bottle in this pouch. It's not secure though so you may not be comfortable placing expensive equipment in it. Additionally, the padded liner inside can be removed to create more space. I take out the padding when I'm shooting with a battery pack/grip on.

Q: 9. Is there a waterproof cover available for Sling III from Lowe or a third party?

A: I'm sorry but there is no waterproof cover available for the Lowepro Sling.

Q: 10. Wondering how long the adjustable shoulder strap is?

A: Very long and adjustable total length is 49 inches.

[1.75 mm] This gold is the same as any other, the color is vibrant and the silk effect works well. Polymaker tends to be my go-to for these types of base material colors because the material works well, and I have the least number of issues for the price point.

[Orange] This item arrived quickly from BH Photo. It was packed well with no damage. The storage box is large and can allow 2 1kg rolls or one larger roll to be stored. It has a nice dessicant storage space and humidity guage. It is a bit pricey since you can also get a heated drier/storage box that is less money now days. I just wanted a box without the cord attached.

[1.75 mm] The filament from B&H prints well in my K1C, i previously ordered from Amazon and it seemed old/wet or whatever even after it was dried with my Pi Plus. The price is a tad more from B&H but is offset by the free Next Day Shipping. I printed all my K1C upgrade parts with the filament from B&H, 270 Door Hinge, Riser for more belt clearance, Fan cover, Side Spool Holder, ETC. All came out great with the Creality settings in Creality 5.1. My only issue with B&H is they dont carry a color selection i need Red, Green, Yellow. I will order from the Creality Store. But i know i can always get Black/White PETG from B&H. I ordered 3 more rolls.

[PETG] I have used many types of filament. For me the Creality Filament is a great filament at a great price. I use it exclusively in my Bamboo X1 Carbon. Good stuff.

[Orange] Literally no reason to have this material, but its so fun. It glows bright and as expected, making stars, fidgets, light covers, what a blast.

[PETG] This stuff is fantastic. I don't see much of a difference in color, versus other materials of the same color but this material has had the least number of issues along with the bulk of the prints I have made with it. I tend to like polymaker in general for standard colors and base materials so, I will purchase this again when needed.

[Orange] This stuff is impressive. It has a much higher tolerance for printing fine pieces. Its sand-able and workable and much more rigid than PLA. It does have some issues I'm finding joints aren't as well supported because of the fiber content versus plastic but once I engineer the model to accommodate, it works amazingly well.

[PETG] This material is one of my hands down favorites. The color intensity is truly a charcoal black. To me, it beats all other silk materials because of its light diffusing properties. Its rough to the touch and doesn't have the dry time CF does. Fantastic material and I will keep buying it again and again
