[24 VDC] I bought this as part of a BOGO deal and I have ZERO regrets. It's amazing. I've worked with Aputure lights, and the GVMs have no business being this good at their price. They are easily on-par and you get way more bang for your buck.


I've been hesitant to be vocal about them because it's like a secret weapon. The color rendering is wonderful, and the softbox makes for a beautiful interview setup with little to no effort (see my screenshots).


The light stand is pretty good! Normally, cheaper manufacturers skimp on support, but not these guys. It isn't an ARRI stand, but it's good and I don't feel nervous putting some weight on them.


I haven't used the app or worked too much with the program settings, but as a continuous light it's amazing. I tried connecting to the app while rushed, and it seemed like something that will take more time to figure out. Same with the program settings. The programs were one of the things I attracted me to the Aputures, so I'm glad they included them - such as fire light, strobe, lightning, etcetera.

[Yes] I bought one for myself, loved it so much! Bought another for my brother. Because anyone who wants to take pictures should have one video light like this.

[Yes] This light is ideal for my YouTube Studio's key lighting. The soft box does an excellent job of directing the light in the desired direction, minimizing spill, and illuminating the entire space. At 300w, it is quite bright and dimmable. I can adjust the color temperature to adhere to any setting I desire with the color temperature changer. Another outstanding offering from GVM. Definitely going to purchase more of their stuff.

[1x Reflector] If you are into vlogging or photography I would definitely suggest you picking this item up. It's a great light with daylight led, absolutely wonderful light. Does everything it says it does and super versatile. Works with the app so you can run multiple lights off one iPhone or iPad.

[Bowens S] I picked up this light because I was looking for a bright daylight lamp that I can shot indoors. It has a ton of power to it and could probably do a whole room pretty easily. The package has everything from the stand, reflector, light and everything you need to get started. As far as applications go, this would be perfect for anyone doing a YouTube channel, product photography, or indoor film. I have been most impressed with it.

[1x Reflector] I was blown away by just how phenomenal their customer service was, I had purchased a motorized camera slider from them. They sent it to me quicker than I had expected, then when I noticed on the instructions it said there were a cord or 2 that was sold separately, I contacted them about purchasing, they said no problem they would be in the mail in a few days. Once again I was willing to make the purchase, they instead over delivering again. Honestly they should just be put in charge of every customer service experience at every company on the earth!

[Yes] I've been using this for about a month as a key light for making YouTube videos and it works really well. The light is nice and soft and it generates very little noise. Setting up the lantern can be a little tricky at first, but after the initial setup, it's a breeze to use. This is a great alternative to Aperture lights.
