Mono-lock design allows you to lock and unlock the three sections of each leg using only one locking lever. The rotating lever provides a robust clamp mechanism that secures the legs and prevents them from slipping once locked. The single lever on each leg allows you to quickly lock the leg height without having to use two levers, making for a quicker workflow and sparing you from bending down to open the bottom leg lock to raise the legs fully.

The legs feature spiked feet that provide solid purchase on soft surfaces when not using the included ground level spreader.

The ground level spreader attaches to the spiked feet for working on delicate or hard surfaces.

The included mid-level spreader allows you to work on uneven terrain, such as stairs or rocks, while preventing the legs from flying apart. When using the mid-level spreader, you can use the included rubber feet to protect delicate surfaces from the tripod's foot spikes.

The head features a tilt range of - 60 to 90°, which allows you to tilt the camera so it points from almost straight down to straight up.

The 100mm bowl/base provides a wide platform for balancing and working with cameras and accessories up to 39.6 lb.

The bubble level illuminates at the touch of a button.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are there any compatible quick releases for the gp2 plate? looking to add one to my shoulder rig.

A: We are not aware of a Quick Release System that is compatible with the GP2 plate. However you could always install a quick release assembly like the Manfrotto 577 to both the top of this tripod and your shoulder rig. From there you will be able to switch between the tripod and shoulder rig with a Manfrotto 501PL style plate.https://bhpho.to/2mRIakh

Q: 2. Does the new Manfrotto 2 in 1 spreader fit with these legs? Ikan does not have a telescopic spreader and the ground spreader is too much of a hassle.

A: It does not. The Manfrotto 2 in 1 Tripod Spreader, BH #MAMVASPR2N1, is only compatible with the Manfrotto 645 FTT and 635 FST series tripods.

Q: 3. How much does this weigh without the ball head?

A: I have contacted K&F and they are unable to provide the weight of the K&F Concept BA225 Carbon Fiber Tripod without the Ball Head.

Q: 4. Hi! I plan to use this tripod with a Sachtler aktiv fluid head, but for that I need to make sure of the compatibility. There is a centered hole in the bowl where the head is mounted and I would like to know it's diameter. Could you please check it for me?

A: Yes. The following unit will adapt to the 75mm bowl drop.

Q: 5. It says with 75mm ball but see the ball nowhere in any of the photos of descriptions. Rather it says 75mm bowl. Does this version come with a ball?

A: This product doesn't include a tripod head. You can get the same version with the head.

Q: 6. Can I ship immediately if I place an order?

A: As of the time of this posting, December 3rd 2018, this product is in stock and ready to ship.

Q: 7. Does this include Quick-Release Adapter with plate?

A: Hello,a quick-release system is built into the head of this tripod kit. The kit includes a quick release plate, and you can buy an extra under the SKU GP1 if you want to prep for quick-swapping or are unfortunate enough to lose plates easily.

Q: 8. Anyone had any luck replacing the center column after use as a monopod? Can't get it reconnected for the life of me.

A: If you are having difficulties with the K&F Concept BA225 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Ball Head, you can contact the company at customer@kentfaith.com

Q: 9. It is written that it comes with mid-spreader with rubber foot, but I don't see it in the picture. Could you confirm it?

A: The mid-level spreader, ground-level spreader and rubber feet are all included with the E-Image Two-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod.

Q: 10. I'm planning to purchase this kind of tripod but do I need to purchase Manfrotto 520BALL 75mm Half Ball too in able for me to mount my Manfrotto 502AH Pro Video Head with Flat Base? Does it included in the package?

A: The Manfrotto 520BALL 75mm Half Ball is not included with this tripod. You will have to purchase it as well to mount the 502AH head on it. https://bhpho.to/2P4qQZm

[39.6 lb / 18 kg] I was searching for a lightweight, rugged video tripod and head that could support my RED EPIC-W when its all rigged up or my lighter Sony FS7. I have been working on a TV show for Discovery Science Channel in Chernobyl and had to travel light. The GC102 and GH15 head were perfect.

It collapses down small enough to fit into my Pelican Air 1615 case for my checked back with my clothes. I have also been able to pack it in an LL Bean rolling duffle as well since its less then 30" collapsed.

The head is very smooth and the range of drag settings allows me to use the RED in various configurations or my light FS7. It's rugged as I hauled it up the and down a side of a mountain in Utah to film in Arches and got quite banged up, but no issues in the mechanical operation. Its logged over 50,000 miles of travel with me and is still going strong.

[39.6 lb / 18 kg] We have the GH06 and were happy enough to jump up to this one. This is very solid, silky smooth, and it just feels right. We use a 15-20 lbs setup so we haven't maxed out the head, but I see no reason it won't hold up. We also work with three other camera-ops who use this with heavier cameras and they all have great things to say. We are also huge fans of the carbon tripod legs with single lock. Great idea!

[Yes] The mechanism is great, it is really more easy to operate than tripods with various locks

[Yes] I've read a lot review before buying this tripod and some of them were complaining about flimsy legs, and stuck rods. Well, maybe they had a bad batch, because this tripod is amazing. It's not really heavy, and it's sturdy and well made. For the price that's amazing. If you throw like 65 pounds or more on it and you get it to full height, then yeah, this is not the right tripod and the problems mentioned might appear.

[61.5" / 156 cm] First thing to say is that I would consider this tripod 3 stage instead of 2. There are single rails that slide out from the double rails, giving these sticks great height and range. Not to mention from a single lock---which is the best feature by far. Coming in at a close second is how light weight this is. Even with the Manfrotto MVH500AH Fluid Video Head, these sticks are still so easy to throw on my shoulder on a run-and-gun.

The quality seems good (only had it for a week or so). The plastic isn't brittle. It feels like any Manfrotto or Sachtler tripod I've used. I 100% recommend these sticks for your medium/lightweight camera.

[26.9 lb] Happy with the quick and easy setup. Easy to jump from location to location and alter the height with the single lock on each leg. The mid-level spreader also adjusts and alters the footprint. I paired this with the Manfrotto 504HD and am very happy with the whole package!

[-60 to 90°] That tripod is a great quality piece of equipment, I love it! Super well made and lightweight, perfect for location jobs with a Manfrotto head.

[Yes] Excellent tripod, especially for the price. Upgraded from a manfroto that would twist and shake when pan and tilting. My rig is about 20lb when all is attached and this baby is steady as a horse.

[5 Steps plus 0] I have primarily used Sachtler and Vinten tripods throughout my 20 years in production. I have purchased multiple Sachtler 18s and 20s for companies that I have worked for, and I loved them. A couple years ago I was building my own camera, lighting/grip packages. I was buying everything at once so I needed to find a cheap tripod to get me by for a year.

At NAB 2019 I tried out ever tripod that I could find. One vendor even sent me a $4,000 tripod to demo for a month, but nothing came close to this E-Image.

It’s Carbon Fiber, and what I love is that with one turn of the “mono-lock”, both stages of the tripod colapse/extend. Also the head is solid and smooth.

If I have to come up with a complaint, I feel that if I have a long lens on my camera and I want the tension on high, I would like for there to be a bit more tension. I also miss the quick release plate, but for a savings of $6,000, I think that I can deal with that!

Needless to say, my “temporary tripod” has become my permanent tripod and I just bought a second one for my second camera package. If you happen to be all about brands, just buy some Sachtler stickers to cover up the name! I think I’ll use my $12,000 in savings on my two sets of sticks to put towards buying a cargo van!

Happy shooting!

[5 Steps plus 0] Ordered these legs as a Manfrotto replacement and with the originals were as stout as these. Highly recommend.
