A: This would be heavily dependent on the level of adhesion of the top layers of the clear film. As for the droplet weight it would be 4 picoliters; Variable Droplet Technology can produce up to three different sizes per line.

A: Unfortunately Epson does not make a rip for the P900 and based on a quick search, none of the 3rrd party rips list the P900. The rips seem to be made for 24 inch or larger printers only.

A: Epson has improved these printer models across the board. With proper use and maintenance you should be able to avoid paper skews with art papers.

A: Yes, one can print a 30" cut sheet with the Epson SureColor P900 17" Photo Printer by using custom paper sizes. One can pretty much print up to the largest file size one would have.

Q: 8. The P800 was a nightmare to load from the front. My Moab Entrada Natural Rag 300 gsm paper would always get stuck at the back and not roll up the paper holder. I always had to load from the back and even that became a problem, occasionally getting stopped by the rollers. Has this been solved?

A: Loading heavy media from the front on these printers the P800 & P900 has to be a flat straight pass straight through to the rear of the printer. Make sure the paper is straight with no curls especially when the paper comes off a roll.

Q: 9. Does this printer leave "pizza wheel" marks on glossy papers? This was a problem with every earlier version of the printer. It it doesn't, how has the paper feed mechanism changed?

A: This uses a roller to feed the paper.

A: The number of prints will vary based on the image, paper and the settings but roughly speaking the inks should last for about 175-225 13x19 color photos.
