The Easy Lock baseplate provides the balance adjustment range associated with a sliding balance plate while combining the ease of a quick release, as you can pop the camera (on the Easy Lock plate) into the top of the fluid head without having to support the camera while lining up the plate with the head. Easy to pop in, it stays secure until you release it, and you maintain the sliding balance adjustments.

The mono-lock design allows you to lock and unlock the three sections of each leg using only one locking lever. The rotating lever provides a robust clamp mechanism that secures the legs and prevents them from slipping once locked. The single lever on each leg allows you to quickly lock the leg height without having to use two levers, making for a quicker workflow and sparing you from bending down to open a bottom leg lock.

The legs feature dual-spiked feet that provide solid purchase in soft surfaces when the legs are spread wide or extended to full height.

The rubber feet attach to the spiked feet for working on delicate or hard surfaces.

The Easy Lock camera plate features a guided sled with a locating pin, and supports both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera tie-down screws (included).

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what is the material used in the build of this product?

A: Aluminum predominately. Some plastic in handles and locks. Best feature? One handle to size and lock each leg. A time saver.

Q: 2. Can I purchase another handle?

A: At this time the pan handle is not available as a separate item to purchase.

Q: 3. Will this tripod hold well a Konova K7 Slider (47.2 ) with a 5d mark iii?

A: Gian, correct. The legs can support much more, it's just the head that is limiting for your set up. A more robust head would definitely help.

Q: 4. how strong is the counterbalance?

A: According to ikan the fixed counterbalance helps support payloads of up to 11 pounds.

Q: 5. Does the tripod comes w/ a plate or do I have to buy that separately?

A: This tripod comes with a quick release plate.

Q: 6. Hi will the E-Image E-Image EK60AAM be better? What is the diference besides the load capacity?

A: The counter balance is better on the EK60AAM kit and the build quality in general is sturdier.

Q: 7. is it true that the legs of this tripod can hold up to 88 pounds?

A: The GA752 legs can actually, technically, support more than 88 pounds. 88 is just the recommended payload, and what the legs are designed to hold while maintaining the most functionality and safety. We used our former product management supervisor as a gauge, and have confirmed that these legs can hold a small Asian man who weighs between 100-120 pounds without issue.

Q: 8. I have purchased this product and only used it 4 times. It is almost an outstanding product except for couple issues which makes it useless for video. In your advertisement it says With variable fluid drag on both pan and tilt, you can adjust the fluid head to suit your shooting style or the needs of the shot. Untrue there is only variable fluid drag adjustment on tilt and not on pan. To make matters worse upon purchasing the tripod in February the fluid drag was notably less than tilt even when tilt is set at the lowest setting. I have not used the tripod in months and I just used it again in the summer heat of about 85 degrees F and there is only a slight amount of pan fluid drag compared to tilt fluid drag a number of times more. The difference is so extreme it is useless for video since it is so easy by error to pan it you I try to tilt it. When I use long lenses such as 400mm and 1250mm I use a rubber band on the pan arm but it is impossible to gently tilt without it panning. Using the pan lock as a brake does not work. I went back to using my 10 year old Velbon leaking PH-368 tripod head and tripod of which results in much better video. I contacted B&H and it was beyond exchange time and they said to email the E-Image company for warranty. I emailed them and never heard back and sending a product to China for warranty I won't do to lack of recourse if I never get it back. So now the question is do you have a drawing break down for the fluid head to see if I can disassemble it to increase the fluid drag? Another issue though more minor is the counter balance spring is not preset to place the sliding plate mount level but rather it measures angled up at about 20 degrees. This can be corrected by sliding the camera plate all they way forward except if the lens and camera combination is too light with the plate all the way forward it still tilts upward. A very minor issue is the spring loaded hook fell off though it does not matter since I never used it anyway.

A: It is most unfortunate that you have had this negative experience. This is of course not what we at B&H wish for our customers.B&H can only offer is return or exchange on items purchased within 30 days. After that, we must suggest that you contact the manufacturer for we do not have repair facilities. You might try contacting ikan for they also handle the E-Image line of tripods.Email: support@a href= http://ikancorp.com target= _blank ikancorp.com/a or call (713)272-8822.

Q: 9. how much does this tripod weigh?

A: ok No problem 5.78 kilogram = 12.742 718 754 lb, lbs

Q: 10. I bought this a while back. The pan movement is always jerky at the start of the pan. Why is that?

A: For help trouble shooting your product please email us directly at askbh@bhphoto.com.

[2/3] Absolutely the best tripod I have ever owned. Heavy yes but it is so worth it so I do not ever leave home with out it. Even for photography I use this tripod.

[61" (155 cm)] I have used many tripods and the legs on this are incredible. Fast to set up and sturdy. The head is okay for smaller cameras but the legs are the real deal. I got this because it came with a nice bag didn't really need the head but now have it. Feels like they will last. The ability to release all the levels with just three turns is amazing and never going back.

[-60 to 90°] We sold our old Magnus tripods and dolly's for the E-Image tripods. The heads is a lot smoother then the Magnus and the locks don't loosen and slide like the Magnus. All my volunteers fight for this tripod.

The DOLLY is 10 times better then the Magnus as well. The wheels are bigger and smoother to role on. I also recommend this dolly.

[16 lb (7.3 kg)] I'd say it's worth getting, fluid head is smooth so far w/ the tests I've been putting it through, the bag it comes with was WAY better in quality than I expected. Secure latch and lock. Leg release latches are simple and make set up and break down way easier!

[16 lb (7.3 kg)] We use these at my church and they have been a true work horse. We often take these to film outside of church. The bag is very handy, easy to setup and smooth movement.

[39 x 9 x 8"] This tripod / head combination is now a key part of my rig. The quality surpassed my expectations. It is very rugged and stable. It is light enough to carry around with my camera mounted for run and gun situations. Also great for table top filming and photography applications. The only draw back is the head does not have a drag adjustment on the pan axis. However it does have a fluid drag on the tilt axis. The tilt and pan movements are very smooth / fluid.
