A: No there isn't. GVM does not make a rubber foot for this set of tripod legs. when using it on a flat surface you should use the ground spreader.

Q: 10. I was looking at the tripod and noticed there is a crank to raise and lower the center column. Is that removable or do you have to use it every time? It seems a bit cumbersome.

A: As far as I can tell, the hand crank is NOT removable. You do NOT need to raise the center post unless you wish to. The hand crank has NOT been an interference to me.
