[C-Clamp] I needed something to hold my video camera while offroading in Utah in a rented Jeep. It had to be something substantial without leaving any permanent sign of having been there. The crab clamp gripped the passenger side dashboard grab bar firmly while the magic arm held the camera above the dash without shaking while moving down the trail. The result? Some fantastic videos that I will cherish for years to come.

[Aluminum, Steel] Very versatile and can be configured in so many different ways and positions. I use it to hold a YoloLiv streaming device while filming sports. I would normally position the Yolo on the camera hot shoe however, that position is taken with a wireless mic system. Very well constructed using quality materials.

[Black] This is a very solidly built piece of equipment, well-finished with substantial, firmly tightening connections. I plan on ordering a couple more of these for placing lights inside tight spaces. Jaws will tighten down on a rod but also on a flat surface like a shelf. Why bring another light stand or tripod that will only get in the way when one of these will do? Worth the money.

[Black] This thing awesome! Very high quality of construction. I attach it to a light tripod and attach a speedlight and flash trigger to it. I then use that whole setup for a rim light for portraits. Its easy to setup and adjust. I would highly recommend this product!

[Round] These Neewer Wall-Mounting Boom Arms have been extensively utilized in my studio/photography space. Easy to install and adjustable. Great for extending your lights or camera in different directions around your studio space and subject without the hassle of light stands that need to be lifted and moved constantly.

[Black] Amazingly well crafted. Once I got my son passed the fidget spinner, best toy ever aspect! Lol.. I was able to use it as a multi mount for cameras and mics. So well built.

[Round] Before I was offput by the price point, but after receiving it, I am very happy.


The build quality is incredibly high, and there is absolutely no slipping or downward drift with my camera, lens, and flash attached (total weight approximately 1900 grams).


The clamp is well engineered, and it stays put on both my table top as well as any pole (monitor mount, tripod, or otherwise) that I've tried to attach it to, while not damaging any of the surface.


The articulating arm is very tight, but it does take some getting used to when positioning it. When you release the tension, every joint freely moves, and it's taken some time for me to get used to the juggling act of getting the arm held in the right spot _and_ the camera point in the right direction.


The tripod base that's included in this kit is probably the single least awesome part that's included, though, it is very functional... But I've decided I'm going to keep this in my bag (the larger bag) and only touch it for special use cases; under normal circumstances I'll use my dedicated tripods over the included base.


Finally, if you do not already have a hot swappable shoe for your camera, I recommend that you grab one for this kit, as the screw on the camera mount is functional--but it's tedious when you take your camera off your magic arm kit.


I am disappointed that the arms are a little short~approximately 10? or so inches. In my situation I could use an extra 2-4 inches for each fo the two arms, but that's definitely not a deal breaker.


With that said, I will probably buy another set of these just to help my particular studio needs.
