Q: 1. Does it work with 220-240 volt plug ?

A: This is for 88 - 140v input only.

A: The CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD PFCR does not come with a network card it requires an optional RM card, the optional RMCARD will provide remote monitoring and management over a network.

Q: 3. Can this be used to power strobes as it's a pure sine wave?

A: Yes. As long as your flash head is no more than 720 Watt second. I have tested this UPS with my Profoto Acute2R 2400 power pack with one Profoto Acute/D4 Head. The power pack must be set to the minimum setting of 1/4 power output. Otherwise, the UPS will shut down. Be gentle transporting the UPS to photoshoot locations and ensure the vents near the bottom side panels have proper clearance.

Q: 4. Can this software be installed on macOS Catalina? I am getting errors that it can't be checked by Apple.

A: Hold the Control key down when installing the .dmg file. That will display an "open" icon.

A: Generally speaking Milton, batteries in UPS can last between 3 -5 years before signs of degradation. However, factors such as an UPS operating in consistent heat or frequent charging/discharging will shorten the live span of the UPS. I've had my CP1500PFCLCD for 13 months and it is operating excellent with no issues.

A: No it is not able to do so.

A: The CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS is UL 1778.

Q: 9. Can you use a short extender on the outlet on the back of the UPS so that a wider external hard drive plug does not cause you to overlap the outlet beside it?

A: This will work, but the doc's say no extensions. I would imagine the only issue might be in a warranty claim situation - technically a short cable is going to make no difference in performance.

Q: 10. Can I connect a three outlet 50 foot extension cord into a single surge+battery outlet on the UPS as I have 2-3 other devices too far away from where the UPS will be placed. The devices are a cable modem, WiFi router and Netgear router?

A: In order for the UPS to work as intended, it is not recommended to use any type of extension cord or to share outlets with more than 1 device.

[Lead-Acid] The original batteries in my Cyberpower 1500PFCLCD lasted almost 8 years. This OEM replacement arrived fully charged and was easy to install. In the past I've gotten separate batteries from various places for less money and assembled them into a cartridge using the necessary parts from the old one. It's just not worth doing. The batteries are often substandard, sometimes arrive dead and will not charge, and even when they are OK they last only a couple of years. This is the zero hassle long term solution. 5

[Lead-Acid] My ups died a few months ago. I got a weird code and after a little research, i found this for a good price and my devices are secured again. B&H shipped directly from the CyberPower so that was also good to know it wasn't a generic branded battery. 5

[Lead-Acid] Was way overdue for a replacement when my UPS system test initially only lasted for 30 seconds, failing, then not hold a charge right after so any surge will instantly shut off system. It was great that the UPS showed battery at nearly full charge so I could use it immediately. paperwork recommended to charge for at least an hour for best performance but was for a personal machine so I wanted to use it right after I have seen it turned on and passed its self-test. Greats product! 5

[Lead-Acid] This is the factory approved replacement for the old battery when it will no longer take/hold a charge (can show as charger fault, but it's really battery fault -- at least some Cyberpower devices don't have a fault code for battery end-of-life). Battery exchange is easy, just follow the directions and pay attention to the barely visible arrows on the instruction sheet. On arrival the exterior shipping box was well-beaten up, but the battery is packed in it's own box extremely well, and arrived looking pristine. 5

[Lead-Acid] The only problem I had was the instructions did not say remove the battery connection cable before trying to pulling the battery from the case. You need to disconnect the cable or the battery will not come out. The battery works well. 5
