A: This tripod has 3 angle leg adjustment. After the 2 leg section has spread the distance between legs for each angle is small 9 inches, medium 18.5 inches, and large 23 inches. Unfortunately, we don't have a tool to help us calculate the diameter.

[3 Positions] This tripod is light to carry and solid in the wind. It's exactly what I needed for my spotting scope. I added a bit of padding for my shoulder and am enjoying it a lot. A big improvement from my old aluminum one. 5

[Twist Lock] The purchase itself went well, and the price was very competitive. The tripod and head were what I wanted and needed - high quality, easy to set up and light, light, light. With the (heavyish) scope mounted it is about as heavy as just my old Manfrotto tripod and head alone. Perfect. 5
