The steps are clearly labeled to get you setup quickly. The initial setup is also very simple. Navigating the software on the computer is 9/10 on being easy to use. I did not encounter any problems. You will need a printer cable if you plan to print directly from your computer. Overall it’s an amazing printer that has great and fast printing and print quality.

[1x Toner] After much agonizing over types, styles, prices and brand names I arrived at what would be best for my situation... instead of ink jet or mega tank the laser printer won.

Now ...what kind? I chose Brother and Im thrilled at the outcome. I dont print much anymore but when I do its going to be something essential . The laser is ready , boots up smoothly, prints quickly and the page is sharp and clear.

I did have a slight problem in setup., which was downloaded from the Brother site. It asked for some number that was supposedly on the printer somewhere.....it was not. So I kept looking and found another Brother site for setup and this one worked beautifully. Ot only took a minute or so and it was ready to rock. Since then Ive printed several pages for both written word and artist reditions of animals to use for hobby work and all came out perfectly. I even like the size.of the printer which has a footprint about the same dimensions as my old ink jet., but with a distinctive more compact style. And for the price I paid.....I'm super impressed.

[30 dBA48 dBA] Yes, I have had great experiences with Brother printers starting with MFC-8500, windows 10 is as far as that printer would support. Now that I have Windows 11 pro I went a simple yet very effective Brother HLL2460DW, and so far it has been flawless.

[Laser] This an excellent basic printer. Pages are sharp, never a misfeed, and, for me, the duplex option is terrific. It’s quick.

[Print] This is a great printer. I have never liked inkjet printer because the ink dries up and it's expensive. This printer has none of those issues. My printing is only documents and black and white images.
This printer is reliable and the print is clear and precise. The ink in reasonably priced. I love the double sided printing. Saves paper.
