[1024 x 768 ] Battery life on the new V2 is amazing! Couldn't be happier with all the updates on the V2.

[5.635 lb] I was so afraid it would just be an updated Leupold Tracker (handheld I have and only other experience I have) This is much more than that. Only tested to around 80 yards, but to there can easily identify and target rabbits and raccoons even though I was hunting hogs. The zoom seems pretty worthless though. If you're unsure, watch videos of it, they're honestly what it looks like, works great. For sighting in, the tinfoil around a square of cardboard works great. The one shot sight in is amazing, Im sure all digital scopes do it.

[45 mm] While there are many other more expensive units with higher resolution on market, this unit is just what you need to locate and identify game. It will identify game for very far away and depending on the size of the game, you can differentiate deer from hogs at distances of 100 yards or more. I was able to identify wild hogs and deer in swamps, fields and woods very easily. When you turn it on you may think the resolution is not sufficient, but the game show up very well, as well as people. For the price, its hard to beat.

[1024 x 768 ] I knew that real thermal imagers were not cheap, but I am very pleased with this one's performance for the price. With only a 256-res chip, I wasn't expecting a lot of detail, but I could easily recognize deer 200 yards away, and a rabbit at 80 yards. The sensitivity is very good as well: I can see my dog's footprints in the grass for almost a minute, and the water levels in my opaque water barrels are obvious.

[1x USB-C] I been very pleased with my Agm 25-384. My prior experience was with night vision and thermal of course is a great step up! I is it for hog hunting. Zeroing was very simple. I shot pig at 87 yards on the first night out. Love the ease at which it connects to my phone. Plus, i got the free AGM monocular deal!

[-5 to +5] This scope was recommended by an employee of my state game and fish department , he owns version V1 . I was using a borrowed ATn gen 4 50mm 640 resolution thermal . The 35mm 384 Rattler seems to be every bit as clear if not better than the competition. I easily recognize coyotes at 250 yards , you can distinguish a rabbit from a possum at 175/200yds . Once you start to see game you will see the difference in the heat signal that they put off and getting out there will help you learn what your looking at .The V2 Rattler is loaded with features , it came with two batteries that give you 6 to 9 hours depending on how and when you use the scope . One of the features I like is freeze frame when you zero in , this allows you to move the crosshairs without holding on a target ...very handy ! I'm still learning about all the bells and whistles, there are many , but it was real easy to sight in and get me out in the night air . The mount that came with the V2 is a single cantilever and works best on a pickatinny type rail , perfect for an AR 15 A2 type set up . If you use a conventional bolt action etc , a high or adjustable comb will be needed . The mount is adjustable for variations in rails , I've had my scope on and off the rifle without loosing zero . If you are on a budget this thermal will get you in the game and not break the bank . Did I mention the 5 year warranty ?

[Yes] Purchased thinking to play, not expecting anything solid. I was wrong, this is a tool, not a toy, a force multiplier. Holds its zero on Tavor with M885 ammo, holds the zero after removal and reattaching like a dozen times, not even clamped super strong. I have my iron sights and red dot configured such that I got bulls eye at 100 m and 200m. This baby I zeroed with different reticles to 25m, 50m and 100m for dead center. Also the red dot is of a weird shape because of my sight issues, makes aiming tricky - this is perfectly visible as it is just a screen, so crystal clear. I also mounted it with a dovetail mount onto my airgun and not surprisingly was shooting light bulbs from 25 m every time (I used 12V 3W small E10 lamps with 3.7V lithium batteries, so they barely give away any visible light but still ran hot enough to be bright white on a sunny day). Highly impressed!

[50 Hz] After trying a few in this range I would say this thermal performs comparably above its price point. I am impressed with the image quality and features. The on board reachable battery system is a welcome improvement for this line.
