Battery-free tritium phosphor lamps self-illuminate in low-light. The front sight is outlined in black and the rear is non-illuminated metal. Trijicon warrants its green phosphor lamps for a period of 12 years from manufacture date.

The tritium phosphor gas is protected by an aluminum housing and sealed with a sapphire jewel window that also protects the lamp while evenly transmitting the emitted light.

Rubber polymer shock-mounting suspends the aluminum housing within the machined steel body, absorbing shock and ensuring reliability even after intense recoil.

A: The Avenger A9000N would add roughly 3-3.5 inches of height to your A4050CS stand.

Q: 2. Has anyone carried this on a plane? It seems to be about 1 over specs on the 10 height, which is 1 over, but it is under the max dimensions on the other 2 sides. I don't think it would be a big deal, but I thought I would ask.

A: I carry it on a plane weekly. Yes its too big for the overhead. I have a padding kit inside. It has two non TSA padlocks on it and the case is bulletproof. Just check it and dont worry about it. They can throw it around all they want. Mine has about 50lbs of sensitive instruments in it.

Q: 3. I have a set of A9000 wheels but I don't have the shims to put them on 20mm square legs. What material (steel or aluminum) are the shims made of, and can you describe what they look like? A photo of the shims would be great.

A: Aluminum - they come with a new each new set. You could try Ebay or contact the company directly.

Q: 4. Will this caster fit on the Avenger A4041B?

A: yes it will

A: You cannot use the A9000N wheel set with the AV00017. According to the Avenger site it is not recommended to use wheels with the AVA0017.

A: Unfortunately, the Kupo Slider Stand cannot accept wheels.

Q: 7. Can this support 4.5 lbs/ 2.3 kg? To attach a neck strap to the only free eyelet on my camera?

First thing I do to a Glock handgun. Why they don't do it is beyond me, except they might use one of lesser quality. They are expensive but I have never had a problem with these sights. Furthermore B+H is right on once again with impeccable service. 5

I use no other sights. I see no use in tritium except as a money-making gimmick. If it is too dark to see your sights, how can you tell you are targeting a threat? These sights have a very large and very bright dot on the front sight. The two dots on the rear sights are off-white and smaller. Your eyes can't help but focus on the front sight. The front dot is very visible in very low light. If you can verify you are facing a threat and are justified to shoot, you can see this sight. Save your money and buy ammo and train. I am 51 years old and continue to use only these sights on uniformed duty as a deputy sheriff of 21 years. They are strong metal, and sit low on my Glocks. There is plenty of light on each side of the front sight when viewed through the rear sight. Give them a try and leave the gimmicks. These are excellent sights for hard, active duty use or protecting your home, or just shooting fun. There are no better sights made. 5

What do you expect from a known and respected brand such as Trijicon? I’ve had many trijicon products over the years at home and in the military and they make the best and stand by their gear. I trust a trijicon RMR so why wouldn’t i trust their sights too? I do wish they’d have more color options beside white outline but that’s my only ding. They put a sapphire lens in front of the tritium vials, no one else does that. That stood out above the competition. Just go with what you know, trijicon. 5
