Battery-free tritium phosphor lamps self-illuminate in low-light. The front and rear sights are outlined in black. Trijicon warrants its green phosphor lamps for a period of 12 years from manufacture date.

The tritium phosphor gas is protected by an aluminum housing and sealed with a sapphire jewel window that also protects the lamp while evenly transmitting the emitted light.

Rubber polymer shock-mounting suspends the aluminum housing within the machined steel body, absorbing shock and ensuring reliability even after intense recoil.

A: Yes Westcott Scrim Jim Cine can be used with four couplers to get larger sizes. BH #WE2023.

Q: 4. What is the weight of the assembled 6x6 frame? I don't want to have to add every nut and bolt. Westcott should specify the assembled weight.

A: The Westcott 6x6 frame is 7.5lbs.

A: No experience with the Digital Juice but the Scrim Jim system has been a favorite light control system for over 24 years because it is lightweight and easy to use. The Scrim Jim Cine remains lightweight especially compared to other brands in the industry. The # 1834 weighs less than 9lbs! A kit is only a few pounds more. The Scrim Jim Cine system was designed with users in the field to be modular so youre nearly limitless in the sizes and shapes that can be built. Connectors feature a positive-locking system that keeps frame builds in-tact throughout your shoot. Easily removable for quick tear down and setup. The 8 x 8 frame is constructed from smaller modular components and so you can construct multiple other sizes as well! Westcotts fabric attachment, through the use of Hook-and-Loop attachment, allows for fast and easy setup and tear-down. Westcott quality control maintains tight tolerances to assure quality color and diffusion.

Q: 6. Will the previous Scrim Jim clamps work with the new version frame?

A: Due to the Scrim Jim Frame being thicker, the Original Scrim Jim Clamps do not work with the Scrim Jim Cine. For the Scrim Jim Cine, we recommend using the Center Jaw Vise Clamp (Westcott Part# 1980).

Q: 7. Does this come with the scrimjim carry case/bag?

A: This Frame set does not come with a carry case. You would need either the Westcott #1689 rolled travel case or for a case capable of carrying this and other Cine gear check out the Westcott #7351 deluxe wheeled travel case.

Q: 8. Has anyone used a Cardellini clamp to mount this rather than purchasing a frame-specific clamp? I'd rather purchase something that will get more use than just out of this.

A: A Cartellini, Mathellini or end jaw clamp could all be used. You will want one per side.

Q: 9. Does this frame set come with a carrying case?

A: Nope. Though it really should!

Q: 10. Also, can the Baby Pin Clamp hold the 6x6 frame up from one side only, or do you need both sides supported?

A: Fixed location one is fine. Shooting out doors I would suggest doubling up under heavy weather conditions.

[0.13 lb] The Trijicon Suppressor sights are the ONLY ones on the market that will co-witness (bottom 1/3rd) with a Trijicon RMR on a pistol mount configuration. The Glock and Meprolight sights are a couple of hundredths too low to co witness. 5

[0.13 lb] Sights are being used on a Glock 19, and they work beautifully. Easy to read and very durable. Nice large dot on front sight allows for easy and accurate target practice. Very affordable as well. Overall a great set of upgradable replacements for the stock plastic sights. 5

[0.13 lb] I use no other sights. I see no use in tritium except as a money-making gimmick. If it is too dark to see your sights, how can you tell you are targeting a threat? These sights have a very large and very bright dot on the front sight. The two dots on the rear sights are off-white and smaller. Your eyes can't help but focus on the front sight. The front dot is very visible in very low light. If you can verify you are facing a threat and are justified to shoot, you can see this sight. Save your money and buy ammo and train. I am 51 years old and continue to use only these sights on uniformed duty as a deputy sheriff of 21 years. They are strong metal, and sit low on my Glocks. There is plenty of light on each side of the front sight when viewed through the rear sight. Give them a try and leave the gimmicks. These are excellent sights for hard, active duty use or protecting your home, or just shooting fun. There are no better sights made. 5

[0.13 lb] What do you expect from a known and respected brand such as Trijicon? I’ve had many trijicon products over the years at home and in the military and they make the best and stand by their gear. I trust a trijicon RMR so why wouldn’t i trust their sights too? I do wish they’d have more color options beside white outline but that’s my only ding. They put a sapphire lens in front of the tritium vials, no one else does that. That stood out above the competition. Just go with what you know, trijicon. 5

[0.13 lb] Trijicon is the best, in my mind, when tritium and optics are mentioned and the same goes for their sights. There are many others but they’re all wishing and competing to be on the same stage as trijicon. Trust only the best. 5
