[Fluid Head] This is by far the best tripod I have owned, hands down. It is an underdog in its community and out shines some of the big name brands out there.

[Fluid Head] I'm super impressed with this tripod, especially at this price point. Feels very sturdy. Build quality is good. The updated safety lock on the quick release plate works perfectly. Camera feels secure when attached. I like that the quick release plate slides for balancing, that's important. Pan and tilt are smooth. I love having drag adjustment for the tilt. This makes such a difference with the smoothness when doing camera moves. Having a leveling knob on the ball handle and a bubble level makes leveling the camera very easy. If you've ever tried to level a tripod without this feature, by adjusting the legs to level it, you understand. This is very important. I'm also glad this has middle spreaders. I personally like them better than bottom spreaders. They are easier to work on uneven ground and you don't have to bend as far to make adjustments. You can also spread them further out for a wider base and to get the camera a little lower. Another feature I love is that it comes with a nice case. This is very important to me. A tripod should be made to travel, and it will take a beating if not in a case. This might sound trivial, but a good case can add years to a tripod, so I'm glade this comes with a nice, thick, well-made case. Overall I'm very impressed with this tripod. [Yes] We film interviews and videos where a fluid head tripod was needed for stability when switching the camera across subjects and this is perfect! She is pretty hefty (which is a plus) and the fluid head together with the handle for a smooth transition between subjects is just the icing on the cake! Definitely love this product, it's worth the investment!

[Yes] this is an excellent tripod, we have two in use
my only issue is that our small camcorders are a bit lighter than what these are rated for so there is a bit more resistance to get it moving than necessary, we probably should have a lighter weight head
but I have no complaints

[Fluid Head] Very fluid and I feel safe putting my camera on top of it. The foot spikes are a nice addition that makes shooting outside much easier.

[Fluid Head] Have been pleased with this unit. We purchased two years ago, have used it a ton, and it has held up well. We have this unit and the Magnus VT 4000 which isn't quite as rugged. Both have worked for our needs, but the 4000 Pro has proven to be the workhorse we were looking for.

[Fluid Head] Big fan of this tripod. I have the Magnus VT-3000 as well, but wanted something sturdier to hold a larger camera. This does the trick! It’s heavier to carry, but not too bad, and come with a padded case. I do wish the tripod head plate was a bit bigger (like on the 3000), but it is quick-release and convenient. Overall, I’m impressed with this tripod’s level of craftsmanship, quality of construction and ease of use, especially for such an affordable cost.
