Q: 2. I'm trying to find out what color gels are included. I'm particularly interested in orange (1/4 cut, 1/2 cut, 3/4 cut, full cut). Are they included? And is it one of each color (some companies provide 2 or 3 gels of the same color). Thanks!

A: There are three orange gels included in the set but they are not accurate CTO gels. I tested them with a color temperature meter and compared the readings with Rosco gels I have for my studio lights and I found them to be considerably warmer than even the Full CTO Rosco gels. For true color accuracy, I would recommend not using the included gels just cut down some Rosco (or other brand) color correction gels.

Q: 3. Will this work for the Optimo Style lenses as well?

A: The Angenieux EF-Mount for EZ-1/-2/-3 Zooms is only designed to be used with the Angenieux EZ series of lenses and would not be compatible with Optimo lenses. Q: 4. Have a Sony HVM 60 Flash. Will this EZ- Flip work on this flash since it already has a gel strip mounted in the flash?

A: Due to the adjustable nature of the fastening straps, it will be relatively easy to position it in such a way that you can use it on the HVL-FM60 even with the wide-angle panel. The diffuser caps and green/orange plats might interfere with the gel holder, so your mileage may vary.

Q: 5. Does the E-mount adapter effect the focal length of the lens? I've primarily used the Wooden Camera PL adapter with the EZ2 on the Sony FX9 in the full 6K scan. Recently I used an EZ2 with the E-mount adapter on the same setup and the image seemed noticeably cropped.

A: no it does NOT, this is just a flange (FFD) matching adapter to allow the lens to mount, there are no optics in this adapter and it will and does not affect the lens focal length or optical performance

A: Matthews does not list the actually foot print of the base of the Matthews Max Boom - 17.5'. Looking at the boom in use the base is around 4.5-5'.

Q: 10. How do you know when the tripod base is level if used, for example, with a Manfrotto 303SPH QTVR Spherical Panoramic Head (which doesn't have it's own level)? Would you put a bubble level from a hardware store on the horizontal rail of the panoramic head? A two way bubble that fits on the hot shoe (e.g., by Novoflex) would help some, however, the camera could be level in one spot but not when rotated, if the base isn't level--which is the point of trying to level the tripod, right?

A: You will need a level. I am using this with a Nodal Ninja Ultimate M1-L w/RD16-II (F8102).It has a level on each rail. The EZ-Leveler-II makes it very quick and easy to level the pano head. When I first bought the pano head I didn't buy the level. I would have to shorten a tripod leg. This is time consuming and a PIA. The EZ-Leveler-II makes it a snap to quickly level the pano head. Well built and easy to use. I would buy again.
