Capture high-resolution photos and video of game on your hunting grounds, trespassers on your property, or wildlife after dark in your backyard with the Bushnell Core S-4K No-Glow Trail Camera Camofrom Bushnell. Featuring a fast 0.2-second trigger speed and 110' infrared flash, the Core S-4K produces motion-activated 36MP photos and 4K fps video. True Target technology sorts your images by animal type to save time when reviewing—as Bushnell puts it, "No more scrolling through hundreds of pictures of raccoons just to find the one picture of your target buck."

The Field Scan mode will grab a shot at user-selectable intervals for time-lapse surveillance. You can choose from four trigger sensitivity settings, which can cut down on unnecessary shots. The date, time, temperature, and moon phase are stamped on the photos, along with a user-set camera name. Video clips can be up to 60 seconds in length. The camera records to a user-supplied SD card up to 512GB, but you can also review images and videos in the field on the 1.5" viewing screen.

[Yes] If like me, you are seeking to get some insight into the wild creatures who are part of your life but live right at the edge of what you can see…. This is a good tool. The trail camera is substantially smaller than I expected, which honestly is a good thing. It is easy to mount on a tree (be smart and use a stick or something to adjust the angle of the camera for tilt up or down) with the included strap. The transition from color pictures to black and white infrared is pretty seamless. The infrared light does NOT seem to bother any critters in the woods, which is obviously an important consideration.
Get yourself a larger SD card. I acquired a 256GB card and it will be good for many days’ capture.

We set the video time to 25 seconds and ended up cutting function to the stills as they were always weak captures, but the video is providing an interesting look into the lives of the fox den on our property. I will probably place the trail camera in front of bird nests in the future.

The night time stuff is pretty great—-providing you understand the limitations of the imaging.

The camera has even done well in the rain, which surprised me. Maybe it is benefitting from the slight angle I tilted the camera at (pointing down) but the rain has not been a big issue.

The trigger for the movement sensor seems to be working well enough for our purposes.

If you do NOT need cell connectivity and have access to the camera easily and regularly, then there is no need to pay for the features found on some of the other trail cameras… this one does the job very well.

[Yes] I bought this one to replace my old Moultrie (which had decided to kill batteries after a couple of years). This Bushnell Core S-4K does its job, uses less batteries (6 instead of 8), is sufficiently sharp for these types of cameras, and seems to capture well both during the day and at night. I would not be able to judge about possible misses, but so far I am quite satisfied. I hope it keeps going as it works now.

[Yes] So far the camera has met my expectations. Trigger and recovery speed are fast, night time pictures seem better than my other "no glow" cameras. Current setup is located on the top of a wooded ridge line, so i'm not sure on night time range. For the price I think it is hard to beat. Only thing left to convince me about this camera is longevity. Bushnell, I would recommend allowing future reviews to post pictures because some of mine so far are amazing quality. Hope this helps someone.

[Yes] The Bushnell Core DS-4K No-Glow trail camera captures high resolution images, especially with the daytime camera. Some reviews say that the screen size is small, which is true. However, if one reads the owner's manual first, one can make many of the settings at home before going out into the field. In the field the screen is fine for making minor changes. The unit has functioned well in temperatures well below freezing and I haven't needed to change the batteries yet. The unit feels well made.

[0.2 Seconds] This is my 3rd of this model. The camera has a very long battery life when using photo only mode and the pictures are of great quality. Night photos can be very good when you get the best setting for your setup. Programming is very easy. Deer seem to notice the camer less than lo-glow cameras, but I still get some deer investigating the camera.

[Yes] I bought this for property security. And I am not an authority on trail cameras. I will say this camera has a lot of features which I was looking for in a non cellular security camera. The menu is versatile and it is easy to navigate.
