Nanuk's PowerClaw latching system uses compressive force and triple action to keep the case securely closed until you are ready to open it.

Integrated slide locks have tough stainless steel hardware to prevent your case from opening even if it is dropped.

Integrated stays in the hinge keep the lid propped open when you're packing or unpacking the case.

The automatic relief valve equalizes differences in atmospheric pressure you may experience when changing altitude or location, preventing your case from sealing shut.

Reinforced metal padlock holes provide extra security.

An integrated bezel system accommodates custom panels without needing to drill holes in the case.

Q: 1. Does it have dtap power out?

A: We're afraid not. The Ronin-S does not offer a D-Tap power port.

Q: 3. Will it work with a Nikon D810?

A: Yes, you will be able to balance and shoot with the Nikon D810 on the Ronin-S. DJI is also working on support for functions with the D810 while shooting.

Q: 4. Will ronin S work with Fuji XT3 with battery grip?

A: Yes, you should be able to balance and shoot with a Fuji XT3 with a battery grip. The Ronin-S is able to handle Mirrorless cameras like the XT3 even when they are a bit taller thanks to a battery grip.

Q: 5. Can Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4k be used on this one?

A: Hi Sun, The Ronin-S is capable of carrying many camera systems, and the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4k will be able to be balanced on the gimbal. However, the functionality of focus control and start/stop of the shutter is not currently available for this camera.

Q: 6. I understand Sony a7 III (and other Sony camera) owners will need to connect via the supplied IR cable instead of utilizing the USB connection. Does this option provide the same functionality as the USB cable? How reliable is the IR connection? Is an update to get the USB cable working with Sony cameras forthcoming?

A: As Lukas S has correctly said, the IR cable will provide shutter and start/stop recording control but no focus. We are currently working on expanding compatibility to allow for USB and focus via USB.

Q: 7. any neat solution to use camera with arca swiss QR plate?

A: There are certainly some solutions out there, but many increase the height of your payload so taller cameras may be unable to be balanced. More testing needs to be done to determine what setups work perfectly.

Q: 8. would the foam fit something that is 3.5 in deep and still have foam under for protection?

A: Yes the Nanuk 925 Case with Foam will have some padding left after inserting a 3.5 inch deep item.

Q: 9. Could I use a smart phone tripod mount on a Ronin S or any other stabilizers? I just want to have more diversity. Sometimes I'd like to shoot using a smartphone but sometimes I'd like to use a DSLR.

A: The Ronin-S was not designed to stabilize smartphones so we don't recommend it, but there is no minimum payload limit for the Ronin-S. The height may be an impediment for tilt rotation.

Q: 10. Will this work with the Canon R5?

A: While you will be able to balance and shoot with the R5 on this gimbal DJI has not yet listed the camera as compatible for control. You would need to look at the new RS2 model for that. https://bhpho.to/3pRLzyh

[Black] This thing screams quality and thoughtful design upon close inspection. I snagged one on sale and I am so very happy I did - what a ridiculously nice and rugged case for the money! I like it better in design and function than Pelican, though mostly for subjective reasons as they are both pretty similar quality and toughness. I appreciate all the color choices and only lament the lime green/yellow was already sold out but the blue is very attractive and not a bad second choice. 5

[Yes] this is an excellent alternative to a Pelican case, I really enjoy the claw latch system and it is much quieter than the throw latches on Pelican cases. I use these for Astro gear and when I'm out late in the backyard it's nice to open and close cases without extremely LOUD snaps. This case isn't quite a Pelican but when on sale is half the price. 5

[Handle] I needed a case to transport my iPad Pro mounted with a keyboard. I looked around and really couldn't find anything that fit the ticket until I went to B & H photo and found this wonderful little case. With very limited modification I was able to put the iPad Pro the charger the cables my headsets and a couple of small pieces into this case and it was travel ready instantaneously. I highly recommend these they're well constructed and they are also well-made. I've never used this brand before but so far I only have positive things to say about it 5

[Universal] I was looking for a way to keep my audio recording gears organized yet safe. The Nanuk 910 was like the perfect case for the solution. The material feels very strong and premium. I was able to organize the devices and I'm assured that there'll be no dust, air or moisture affecting the items. The only challenge was taking out the foam cubes. One needs quite some patience and technique while working their way in making the desired cut-out. The latches were easy to unlock and locks firmly. Highly recommend for anything that requires keeping away from elements and needs the extra safety from accidental drops. 5

[Yes] B&H is the place to go for great deals on great products. The Nanuk 910 utility that I purchased will be used for my first aid kit. A strong build that is waterproof as well as dust proof. Made in Canada. Will last a lifetime. 5

[Handle] Nanuk is a nice alternative to Pelican cases (I own both Pelican and Nanuk cases). I like the Nanuk clasps better because they are two-stage and much quieter than the Pelican clasps. 5
