[0.18 lb] These do exactly what they are meant to do: replace missing camera plates for 3 tripods we had in the office. Fantastic that B&H sells them. Was able to match them to the specific brand of tripod we had.

[Aluminum] I have owned every VCT plate out there Shape, Zacuto, movcam, chrosziel and i've sold them all. I found them to be incredibly heavy and cumbersome. I wanted something that maintained the low height of my FS7 body when its on my shoulder. Most VCT plates sit so high on the shoulder throwing off the centre of gravity, wooden camera managed to keep the shoulder pad tight to plate eliminating this problem. It only weighs 1.3 LBS which is important when travelling with a kit. They've also ingeniously incorporated their dovetail system into the plate for easy removal of the camera. I cannot recommend this plate enough to anyone trying to keep the weight and profile down of their camera. After a few weeks of shoulder intensive shooting I can confidently say this is the best product out there.

[Proprietary] I ordered this plate as a replacement for my Sachtler FSB 6 Tripod. It fits perfectly and is well-built. The two screws provide stability. B&H shipped the plate quickly and I got it right in time for my next shoot.

[Aluminum] I've owned 4 of these for almost 2 years now and have put them through some pretty strenuous shoots and have had no problems. I was super skeptical when making the decision to buy and have not regretted it. These are every bit the head and sticks Sachtler systems are at half the price (no offense Sachtler, I love you too). I have put full size broadcast cameras with 40x barrel lens rigs on them with no compromise in stability, smoothness and support. Same with larger (17) prompter systems. Comfortable spring settings, pan and tilt tension...easy leveling, stable arms, smooth plate slide adjustment, extra bolt storage, solid locks on the leg stages...I'm completely satisfied with them.

[Aluminum] I'd ordered this plate for a Libec RH25D fluid head. Rather than attach a plate to a camera immediately prior to mounting on a head, I tend to leave them permanently attached to a camera for quick access, and I needed an extra plate, this plate is perfect.

[0.18 lb] I had to order this to replace a lost plate and when it came I discovered that the Sachtler screws are actually the only ones that work with my DSLR for a perfect fit. Might be worth ordering an extra screw or two, just in case... Otherwise, you might end up having to use a washer or two with an offbrand screw to get a tight fit on the bottom of your rig.

[Aluminum] This plate is gold. We lost our plate and needed to order a replacement. The LX 7 head is easy to use and light enough to haul around the field with. I suggest having a spare plate if you have multiple tripods, users and cameras. Thanks B & H for the fast shipping.
