Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Lens cap for binocular. I need 2 lens caps fir my compact binoculars. Barrel diameter 31mm. A push on cap. Do you have anything suitable?

A: Unfortunately binocular caps are often brand and model specific. I would recommend that you send us an email with your brand and model to: sportoptics@bhphoto.com and we can check if we have something that fits.

Q: 2. Will the Kaiser 50mm Push-on cap fit my Samsung NX16-50mm lens?

A: Not sure. The 50mm is the inside diameter, so measure the outside of your lense if it is 50mm you are good to go.

Q: 3. Will this fit a mamiya medium format 90mm lens?

A: That depends on the exact lens you are using. This is not for lenses with a 90mm Focal Length, but for a lens that have an outside diameter of 90mm. With a vintage lens you will want to use a tape measure to see what the outside diameter is. From there this listing has a drop down menu that shows different sizes, there may be a size that better fits the lens you have.

Q: 4. Is this cap fit on the hasselblad zeiss 50mm C f/4?

A: Do not know that is not what it was purchased for.

Q: 5. Can you please verify if this cap will fit on a 80mm hasselblad lenses?

A: If the focal length is 80mm, it doesn't mean the cap/filter size is 80mm. It depends on which version of 80mm lens it is. Typically a push on lens cap should be about 2-3mm larger than that of the filter size. For example is the lens has a 77mm filter thread, a 80mm push on cap should work. The older Hassy lenses took Bay 60 filters, that would be about 60mm in diameter , so a 63mm push on cap would probably work.

Q: 6. Would this work on a 43.5mm lens (Olympus 35RC)?

A: The Kaiser 43mm Push-On Lens Cap might be too tight for a lens that diameter is 43.5mm. This one might fit better, https://bhpho.to/2Hnix68

Q: 7. Will this fit onto a Voigtlander 40mm Nokton lens?

A: Nice lens. I am not sure what lens cap size you need. However, the filter filter size is 43mm. For a screw on clip in lens cap, 43mm would be correct. However, this is a push on lens cap so 43mm may not This indicates that a 40mm Push On Lens cap is going to be too small, without question.Measuring for a Push-On Lens CapMeasuring the Diameter of Your Camera's LensAs push-on lens caps fit over the lens, one should measure the outer diameter of the lens to determine the right cap size. This should be done with a metric ruler, making sure the ruler passes through the lens' center point. The appropriate cap size is the diameter in millimeters.

Q: 8. Does this fit the Leica APO-Summicron-M 35mm f/2?

A: The Leica APO-Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH lens (Black) has an outer diameter of 53 mm, so the Kaiser 53mm Push-On Lens Cap should fit.

Q: 9. Anyone willing to take a guess as to whether this would stay on a Canon fd 300mm f4, which originally came with an 84mm push-on metal cap? Thanks in advance.

A: Hi Tom, I have been using it on my 85 mm wide angle, it definitely stays on just a bit of a pain to get off with lens hood. Glen

Q: 10. Does anyone happen to know whether this Kaiser 85mm Push-On Lens Cap will work well as a lens cap for the Tiffen 82mm variable ND filter?

A: Kaiser makes a 82mm Tiffen 82mm variable ND filter version for use with 82mm filters.

[Slip-On] I just packed up for a trip and loaded 8 filters into this case. Then...I couldn't zip the case closed! I had to rearrange things a bit to get the zipper closed. If you have too many thick filters, it may not work well with 8, but I'm sure 6 would work nicely, especially if you keep the first and last bay empty. I'm still giving it 5 stars because it is very well constructed.

[0.045 lb] I may actually use my filters now that they are all in one place ready to go.

[Front] It serves my purposes. I can tell it's made for larger filters, which I knew before I ordered, but I couldn't find anything that looked as sturdy as this case in a 58mm. I recommend if you have that little bit of extra room in your camera bag, and if you're like me, you probably have very, very little room to play with.

[Black] In need of a new laptop for Linux development. I met with a B&H customer support specialist who reviewed product options with me. After careful consideration I selected the ACER Swift X 16 and confirming that it would support a Linux OS, I made the purchase.

I received the laptop within 2 days. In 25 minutes, I was up and running with a Linux OS. I will happily purchase from B&H again. Thank you B&H team!

Best Regards,

MikeR

[0.045 lb] Great laptop with a nice screen and an RTX 4050. Games well if you’re ok with fan noise. This is essentially the Ford Focus RS* of laptops. It looks like a cheap plastic laptop from the outside but it’s got a great 120Hz screen an graphics card with a good CPU for not too much money.

*A ford focus RS is a small unassuming hatchback with a 350HP engine if you don’t understand the reference

[Slip-On] This is a compact sturdy case of good capacity. It is well built of quality materials. Of course, with something like a zipper (said to be waterproof), only time and use will tell about that feature; but it looks robust enough. The claimed capacity of eight filters is probably accurate, if simple (even slim-design) filters are meant. I've used it for only four Heliopan polarizers (67mm, 77mm, 82mm, and 95mm to cover a range of Canon RF lenses). Though these four filters are fairly thick individually and collectively, they don't exhaust the NiSi Caddy's capacity -- there's still room for a bit (though probably not much) more to fit comfortably in the separate protective sleeves still empty. Given the investment that these four German filters represent, the quality of this Chinese case gives confidence that they will be protect properly. A good case -- and certainly worth the little extra money entailed.

[Plastic] I've been able to replace five different filter and adapter ring cases with one case. It eliminates a lot of bulk and allows me to make much more efficient use of my backpack. I also don't spend time fumbling with individual cases to find the right filter or adapter ring. I can organize them within the NiSi caddy so that I know exactly where the filter or ring is. It just works.

[Front] What I like best about the NiSi Caddy for 8 Circular Filters is the relatively robust construction of the Caddy and the difficulty that dust would have from entering the nicely zippered pouch. Will it hold 8 filters, I doubt it, but it's great for 4 or 5 82mm filters.
