Pairing the XT7 speaker with your StanbyME smart display with LG's WOW Orchestra, lets both speakers systems work in unison for a bigger and more dynamic soundstage for movies, TV, and streaming video. Simply pair them via Bluetooth, or use the included cable to also connect them via USB-C. With both wired and wireless connections, the speaker can be remotely powered on and the display can provide it with continuous power. As an added convenience, the wired connection lets you monitor and manage the speaker's settings onscreen with the display's remote.

Q: 1. Is this the Silver model ??

A: It's more of a dark gray color.

Q: 2. Does it play DVDs from regions 1 and 3?

A: Yes they do. If you have any question about this you can start a Chat with LG. They have confirmed this information that way for me. There is no documentation to provide that lists this though.

Q: 3. Can you use this with a Type-C USB connection?

A: Yes you can with a USB-C male to USB-female adapter.

Q: 4. I bought this to use on my new Windows 10 computer. I was shocked to learn that Windows 10 Media Player does not support DVD nor BlueRay play back. I installed the CyberLink software that came with this drive expecting it to install DVD/BD player software but still no luck. Is this drive not compatible with Win10 or am I doing something wrong?

A: I have 1 Windows 10 desktop and 1 Windows 10 laptop and this LG Bluray Burner works well with both machines. Plug it in and it works. Windows 10 media player does not support Bluray, so it comes with Cyberlink Media Suite. Install the suite on both machines and voila... It plays Bluray or burns disc easily. No problem at all.

Q: 5. Will it work on a Mac?

A: No. Currently this is not compatible with Mac.

Q: 6. Will this work with a smart TV?

A: Never tried, but don't see why not. Just connect via usb hookup.

Q: 7. All of the Pioneer DVD players/burners I own are Region Free natively (no need to hack anything). Is this player Region Free? I have DVD's from all around the world and I don't want to have to deal with a computer player that can not play DVD's/BD's from any region.

A: Yes, this player/writer has region protection. After using it multiple times on a specific region it would lock to the corresponding location.

Q: 8. will this work with a Mac book pro?

A: I had bought it to use with a Macbook Pro, but it didn't work. I keep trying.

Q: 9. Will this work with Mac? Macbook and Mac Mini?

A: The LG gram +view 16" QHD+ Portable Monitor (BH #LG16MR70) is compatible with Mac computers.

Q: 10. Will this play 1080i Blu rays?

A: Yes, it is compatible.

The amazing LG Stand By Me Speaker is what was missing from my Stand By Me Monitor, to give me that amazing surround sound I was missing. The bass and sharpness of the sound exudes greatness and don't let me click the boost button, the boost button gives more of a deeper bass sound, yet clear and not muffled. The set up was really easy. I started by opening the cradle and placing it on the monitor stand, securing the cradle with the release lever and closing the lever shut. I placed the LG speaker Onto the cradle and screwed it into the speaker. 10/10 I recommend. Review submitted as part of a program that provides a purchase discount. 5

The quality of the material and how durable they feel on my hands are both satisfying. The sound quality is very good and better than expected for a small speaker. I love the minimalist design and the LED ring color around its oval shape. The white and light tan color of the material fits very well with my monitor. They connect quickly and easily but one thing I found is that they disconnect after a little while and I could not figure out a way to make them connected always. The battery seems like it is long lasting because I have been using them for over a month now without needing to recharge them. It's not only aesthetically pleasing, but the ability to adjust the colors is so nice. If I'm working late into the evening, I can adjust them to either brighter colors, or more soothing colors depending on my mood. It also holds a charge for a long time! One of my favorite things about the Stand-By-Me speaker is that it's super portable. I can use it during presentations, and it sits in an adjustable mounting cradle. The adjustable mounting cradle is used with the stanbyme monitor. Amazing sound and great quality! 5
