Expand your intercom capabilities with the Evade E-PAK Main from Eartec, a versatile beltpack transceiver that supports both wired and wireless headsets as part of an easy-to-use, full-duplex intercom system that delivers reliable performance at an operating range up to 900 feet for event coordinators, houses of worship, production teams, commercial venues, and more. To create a functioning intercom, at least one E-Pak Remote transceiver (available separately) is required. Adding an E-Pak Main to an existing system allows you to split it into two smaller systems.

The E-Pak features built-in Bluetooth, allowing you to use it with a wide variety of Bluetooth wireless headsets, including the Eartec Lazer-Pro. The transceiver also sports a proprietary dual 2-pin connector, allowing you to plug in a wired Cyber headset (all headsets available separately). Frequency hopping technology ensures dependable performance by automatically switching to a clean frequency when interference is detected. The system can be expanded with additional E-Paks and headsets to accommodate up to 9 users at one time.

The included lithium-ion polymer battery will power the transceiver for up to 6 hours. Please note that a 2-port or 10-port battery charger is required and not included.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what is the range in feet of this product?

A: 1312'

Q: 2. Can two or three intercom systems be combined (daisy chain or?) somehow to extend the number in the group beyond 6? My group ranges from 15 - 20. Thanks!

A: 7 users max in one location with the UltraLITE system. 6 wireless, with one additional wired to the HUB. Not expandable currently.

Q: 3. is it use sound activate switch for switching between talk and received ?

A: Full duplex, no manual switching.

Q: 4. Is there a muting function on the microphones?

A: Yes, the microphone on the Eartec UltraLITE headset has an internal switch that automatically mutes the mic when the boom arm is moved so it points straight up.

Q: 5. the extrenal hub gives you more covered distance and better signal? im afraid of having interference on concerts with 2000 cellphones around...

A: The Eartec UL4S UltraLite system operates in the 1920 to 1930 MHz range. 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz frequencies are not used in the US with the exception of 1 band using 1900MHz. Most cell phones in the US operate in the 800MHZ frequency range. So the risk of any problems with cell phones is pretty much slim to none. Not to mention the protocols are different between cell phones and professional duplex intercom and IFB systems.

Q: 6. Are the headsets linked or synced right out of the box?

A: The system is linked simply by first turning on the headset labeled "Master," and then turning on the other satellite headsets. The master headset will flash a blue light to search for the others in the system, which will also show a flashing blue light. When the the lights on all of the units show solid blue, then they are synced.

Q: 7. What region should I buy if I’m Mexico?

A: The USA version of the Eartec system will work in Mexico.

Q: 8. Hello, I'm wondering if this system carries a PUSH-TO-TALK feature or are all of the headsets continuously open?

A: This system uses the POSITION of your microphone, as in:Position microphone UP = mutedPosition microphone down (front of mouth) = talk and continuously open until you move the mic back up again

Q: 9. When you flip the boom mic up, does it mute the mic only or both mic and earphone?

A: The UltraLITE headset, which is the headset that is included with the Eartec UltraLITE 4-Person Full-Duplex Wireless Intercom with 4 Single-Ear Headsets (1.9 GHz, USA), will mute the mic when its boom arm is flipped up, but the headphone will remain active so that the coms can continue to be monitored by the user.

Q: 10. Can it be used on the right and left ear?

A: It may be used on either side of the head, depending upon your preference.

[9] Coming from the broadcast world, doing small to medium events. Really wanted to get away from wires and belt packs. These were the only cost-effective realistic solution. They worked great. We used them day in and day out. The batteries charge fast. The range was good. If you get enough people and enough staging in the way, of course you're going to lose reception over a couple hundred feet and how many walls. But I never felt like they were oversold in terms of range. I love these things, they made our work lives easier and better every day.

[6 Hours] These worked great, but there is one minor issue with the remote head sets. The master head set has a slider switch to turn it on or off. The remote head sets have a rubber push button that you have to hold down for say 3-5 seconds to shut the head set off. When you insert a battery in to the remote head sets they turn on. You have to make sure to turn the remote head set off when you insert the battery. It's very easy to put a fresh battery in a remote head set, not turn it off and then forget about it and have it drain the battery.

[ADPCM] There is no other headset system that comes in this price range and is that good at what it does!! Absolutely important for all kinds of filming! I cant belive I have been flying Drones professionaly and had been working without these!

[GFSK] I read multiple reviews of the Eartec UltraLITE Headsets prior to purchasing.

My first impression after unboxing was that these feel more like a toy than a production environment tool. The $22 battery replacement cost also is a bit of a red flag. It's a proprietary battery so third party batteries aren't an option.

In the past I've had to rely on hand signals or my production team members actually paying attention to move from live interviews to prerecorded scenes during livestreams. Not anymore.

These simply work, despite their amateur appearance. Since they operate on the 1.9 GHz spectrum, I've never experienced dropouts or interference when in use.

You can't toss them around like regular headphones. They not as well built as headphones. Keep them in the protective case when not in use and remove the batteries as recommended when not in use.

I'm sure other companies make a better built headset, but at a much higher cost.

If you treat them with care and follow the recommendations, these should provide you with several years of worry-free operation.

[800 mAh] Broke in this four station system on a middle school musical and it worked like a champ. Clear crew comms for a reasonable cost. Can't speak to how durable they will be but they started out as exactly what we needed.

[16 kb/s] We've only had this system for a few weeks at our church, but it has made a huge positive impact for our production team. We have tried using walkie-talkie solutions, but they didn't come close to what we needed. It was worth the price to be able to have everyone on the same page throughout auditorium and backstage areas. We have a large space with concrete walls that aren't always the easiest for things like Wifi and cellphone signal, but these have no problem picking up.

[ADPCM] These are great coms on a budget. I had an issue with one of them pairing out of the box. The Eartec customer service number is right on the soft carrying case, they walked me through the programming process in a couple minutes to get all four up and running. I will definitely add another headset and down the road upgrade to the hub when I need it.

[9] These are great!

Flip down to talk.  Flip up to mute your mic.

There is one hub belt  that you hook up to 1 wired headset.  The other headsets are headset only, so you can listen and talk no belt pack needed.

Comes with a bag and 8 battery charger.
