Each features 1.2V of output power, a 2550mAh capacity, and a 3.06Wh rating. The cells come pre-charged and ready to use, and are rechargeable up to 500 times. Additionally, as they are not subject to any memory effects, they can be charged when fully or partially drained and their full capacity will continue to be usable after each cycle. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will these work with a universal Ni-MH charger?

A: It should, if it really is for NiMH. I use a Powerex programmable charger, which customizes the charge rate. I've experimented with the rates, and from this, and also from the Eneloop datasheet, I've seen that the charge rate that gives you the maximum battery charge is 200-250mA. In other words, you want to have a charge time on these of at least 10-12 hours. A rapid charger will work, but it wont deliver as many milliampere hours (charge) before it shuts off.

Q: 2. I currently use an Energizer Charger for My Energizer AAs. Will that charger work for these or will I need to purchase a matching brand charger?

A: Can't speak for Energizer charger specifically, but if the type of batteries matches, then you should be okay. I was using a Pearstone Ni-MH & Ni-Cd charger for a long time with these batteries, and now we use the PowerEx that another reviewer mentioned. These are the best batteries I have used. The Pearstone batteries no longer hold much of a charge but these have lasted a long time.

Q: 3. Will the charger work with other brand of AA batteries?

A: As long as they're nimh you should be fine. I charge energizer batteries in my Panasonic charger and vice Versa.

Q: 4. Made in?

A: According to the information we have, our current inventory's Country of Origin is Japan. Please be aware this can change over the product's production life without notice.

Q: 5. I have a white BQ-CC17 charger that came with non "Pro" Eneloop AA batteries. I assume that charger will work fine with the Pro Eneloop batteries. I s that correct? Thanks

A: Yes, that charger will work.

Q: 6. How long does this charger take to charge the batteries fully?

A: The Panasonic CC17 Charger with 8 Eneloop Pro Batteries will approximately fully charge the batteries within 2 hours.

Q: 7. Any option for an Australian plug?

A: You would need to get a plug adapter for use in Australia.

Q: 8. Are there indicator lights to show charging/charged status?

A: The Panasonic CC17 Charger has indicators lights that are on during charging and turn off when done.

Q: 9. Main use would be in Nikon SB-900 flashes, do these operate hotter then other recharables?

A: You can trip the high temperature protection limit with the pro and regular Eneloop batteries. The flash will resume operating when it cools down The SB-910 reaches that limit more slowly than the SB-900. The external battery packs don’t alleviate this because the flash still needs batteries inside its body in order for it to function. The SB-5000 will also trip its high temperature limit as well if the shooting cadence and the flash power level used is high enough. That being said… they are great batteries to use in Nikon flashes, their AA external battery packs, and in Nikon camera grips that have a AA battery tray (e.g. Nikon D500, etc)

Q: 10. Does this work for AAA batteries?

A: The Panasonic eneloop Pro Rechargeable AA Ni-MH Batteries with Charger (2550mAh, 4-Pack) can charge AAA batteries.

[1.2 V] I have purchased probably 32 of these batteries in my career, and I still have the original 8 that I bought 10 years ago, and they still work! I use these extensively for lights, audio recorders, speedlights, game controllers etc. Super glad I purchased them and they have saved me a lot of money and time. Don't hesitate on buying them, they are worth every penny.

[0.28 lb] I got these eneloop pro AA's and a charger, based on YouTube reviews that showed how they maintain a charge long term.

I've been gradually replacing existing batteries with them. It is so nice to not have to take used batteries for recycling. Also these last much longer than off-the-shelf alkalines, even the brand-name ones. Very happy and I've ordered a set of AAA's

[0.28 lb] Works well in Godox flash, works well in Tascam multichannel recorder.
They do seem to get very hot while charging.
Make sure you know when you need 1.2v and when you need 1.5v.

[8 x AA] I use these in my Godox TT350 and an ancient Sunpak RD2000 speedlight ( brought from B&H). recycling is fast for a small flash. The PRO batteries have more capacity so last longer. Standard disposable batteries die faster in these devices and can get expensive. The charger plugs directly into the wall and charges reasonably fast without overheating the batteries. It would be nice if USB-C connection was an option
