Q: 7. Is anyone having poblems with it clicking properly into VCT14? I have to remove the shoulder pad for it to click into place securely and even then mostly it doesnt click into the rear screw. I bought a new VCT14 thinking that was the issue but I still have the same problem

A: I feel like I had a similar issue when I first got the base plate, but maybe over time it's been able to fit better into the quick release plate. In the beginning I might've press down on the camera to help secure it. I probably still make sure that it's clicking in the place of the rear lock.

A: While it may be possible, I cannot guarantee for certain that the Manfrotto 200PL-Pro Aluminum Plate will work with the SmallRig Universal 15mm LWS Support Baseplate with Quick Release Plate. Manfrotto states that the Manfrotto 200PL-PRO Aluminum Plate will work with "almost all tripod heads on the market featuring Arca-style attachments." Typically, there are little to no issues with quick release clamps that use a screw-knob locking mechanism, but there may be issues with quick release clamps that use lever-type locking mechanisms (such as the SmallRig Universal 15mm LWS Support Baseplate) As such, it would be recommended to purchase the quick release clamp and personally test it with your quick release plate. If it does not work, do note you would have 30 days from the original purchase date to return the clamp for an exchange or a refund.
