[31.4 mm] Get over the price, it is worth it. Paired with my C300ii this lens wonderful. All functions work through the EF mount including autofocus (when needed). Powered via DTap to a Vmount. Has not left my C300ii body since mounted, except for a firmware update. Really has become a all in one lens for us. Great on the shoulder ENG. Great out sticks for interviews. Even does well on a dolly remote zooming.

[7x (Servo)] Saw this in Africa recently on a BBC truck on the same Canon CN20x50 Cine Lens. Mine at home did not have the handle that is made in Germany. So I called the company and they said I could get it at B&H. Wow not really a surprise since B&H has everything! Anyway this handle is a quality piece of gear for the lens. Screws are included along with simple instructions. Makes the lens much easier and, more importantly, safer to handle. Like I said, a must!

[ARRI PL] I do a lot of documentary shooting and this lens is all I need. It's incredibly built and extremely sharp! I use this with my C300 mkii and it's a beaut. Yes, it does add to the weight of your rig, but keeping in mind the end result. If I need anything longer, I'll have my 70-200L II ready to go. But for my needs, this lens is fantastic.

[ARRI PL] We do a lot of Cinema and Broadcast style shooting and this lens does both. We were concerned initially with the 180 degree focus rotation, but we got used to it fast. The macro function is amazing! We are using it with the Sony F55. When we use the 2K center crop setting, the lens FOV essentially becomes a 35-240mm lens. It's light and don't notice a lot of breathing. I can't recommend this lens enough. With the F55 it powers the servo without any additional cables and passes meta data.

[11] I already own a nice 24mm 1.4 so this lens has got some heavy lifting to do to raise my interest. And it has done just that. Now it would be unfair to say it is light years ahead of the Nikon 24mm 1.4G ED lens that I have been using. Truth is.....it just does it ALL very well. Well resolved without being scratchy sharp. Holds the corners well. No CA that I can find and creamy (almost misty) background to help throw that focused subject right in your lap. Honest colors and built like a bloody TANK!!!. So yeah.... a worthy contender at around half the price of the other lenses it beating. You won't be disappointed. Rocks well on my RS3 Pro Gimbal too. Thank you B&H for overnighting it to my shoot and making Christmas happen in August :0)

[ARRI PL] I've tried a few different PL mount adapters of varying prices from low to high. I can say with certainty that this is one of the best I've ever used. It has great machining, tight tolerances with no play when locked in. The lens feel supported and secure with the handful of lens sets I've tried. I have used other Simmod products in the past and have been happy so far with the quality of everything. I highly recommend giving this a try.

[Yes] I film architecture and this easily replaced my Tokina 11-20 and I am more than happy to have done it. This is easily my new favorite lens. Well made and pretty rugged. There is nothing cheap about this lens.

The image is so wide and pleasing.

[Super35/APS-C] I own (and love) my newer Blackmagic Design 6k camera with full frame sensor and Leica L mount. I also have a number of wonderful new and old Zeiss PL mount fixed cinema lenses. (18mm - 200mm) So when I saw this adapter for sale at B&H, along with a good review of it, I took the plunge. I am not disappointed.

With this adapter, a fairly heavy Zeiss lens with ARRI PL mount, like their CP.2 25mm for example, hangs off the Blackmagic camera with no discernible wiggle. The lens goes on and off a bit tight, but hey, that's what I wanted. It looks great too, with excellent machining and black surface coating.

Note that — nothing to do with this excellent adapter itself — my oldest 1970s vintage Zeiss Super-16 lenses, while still producing great images, do vignette at the image corners, from 9mm to 16mm when the Blackmagic camera is set to FF 6k, exactly as I expected. But I could not have verified that without this Simmod adapter. Note also that simply changing the Blackmagic camera setting to capture a more restrictive Super-35 4k size, allowed more of my older PL mount Super-16 lenses to be used. The lens coating on those older Zeiss is not quite as nice as the newer CP.2 or CP.3 but still hard to see much difference in most lighting conditions. Again, this Simmod adapter allowed me to test all this.
