This ultrarugged, road-proof Mogami Gold XLR Mic Cable 20' Right-Angle Female to Maleis a high-quality, heavy-duty microphone cable for stage use where cables will be used heavily. The cable uses Mogami #2791, 2-conductor / 105-strand cabling. It is terminated with a right-angle, female 3-pin XLR connector at one end and a straight male 3-pin XLR connector at the other.

The #2791 cable features 105 strands of 24 AWG annealed bare copper (three times the number of copper strands compared to a typical high-quality cable). Its compact size, together with a heavy-duty binder and filler system, and a braided shield ensure that the cable is less likely to break when handled—ideal for rugged remote and onstage use in sound reinforcement, TV, and broadcasting applications.

[Yes] In any audio situation, the key to quality sound, is to have a quality chain. Having purchased an extremely nice pair of studio monitors, I knew the only thing missing from my playback chain, was a quality set of cables. After much research, I settled on Mogami. I was not disappointed. When listening back through my monitors, the lows were lower, and the highs higher. Overall, my speakers seem more vivid, deeper, and more detailed compared to the old set of cables I was using. Despite this vast improvement in sound, my monitors were still extremely natural sounding, and not hyped in anyway. I highly recommend these cables if you are serious about your sound. 5

[Yes] I use this xlr cable for the on-camera shotgun mic for a Sony EX3. It works wonderful and is the perfect length. Originally I tried a 3 foot cable, but it was too long and wound around getting in the way. This one is great, and the quality and craftsmanship of the cable is great too. 5

[Black] So, honestly, I don't know if cables are really worth this kind of money. Good cables cost, but do they really cost this much? I'm not a manufacturer so I can't say. All I can say is that I wanted the best cables to minimize interference and signal loss and these fit the bill. I could have bought less expensive cables that caused disappointment and then I would be out that money, so I just went for the "best". Absolutely no disappointment and signals are very clean. I didn't needs the "stage" model, but I couldn't find the regular "Gold" in a 30-foot length. Now that I have Mogami cables connecting all of my equipment (and a wallet that has substantially less green), I have peace of mind. This brand is one that you will be very happy with if you can spend the money and not look back. Don't think about first costs or you'll cry but - later - you'll be glad that you used some of your 401k to get the best. 5

[24 AWG] I use this as the instrument cable for my bass guitar and it really lets the natural tone of my bass shine through. The signal comes out very clear and without any buzz or hum of any kind. The cable itself is very sturdy as well. Only possible gripe on my part about this is that the metal connector on the gold plug tends to twist loose by itself once in a while but it's no big deal. The cable itself is amazing. And the lifetime warranty is a sweet deal as well! 5

[Black] I only buy mogami. High quality and light weight. Great for mobile DJ. I have two 50' two 6' , and two 20' XLR. All three combined are equal to the weight of one regular XLR and I can hear the difference in clarity. Unless it's an illusion......they are expensive but if you have great gear, and people are paying you for good sounds, I like to please my audience and please my ears!! 5
