A: Yes, 8x10s fit beautifully. You will even have enough room to write captions, journal, etc.

Q: 3. Can photos be removed without damaging them?

A: Even after 40 years the pictures can be removed. The best way is to slide a thin blade -- such as a non-serrated(!) cake knife -- under the edge, being careful not to mangle the photo in the process. (Avoid starting at a corner, if possible.) Once begun, a light twisting of the wrist and a sliding of the blade back and forth, will gradually lift it away from the sticky surface. A newer page will peel its photo off evenly. A decades-old page will virtually launch the photo, never to be re-stuck.

Q: 4. Just to clarify... this is not a pocket insert. The plastic cover peels back in order for you to arrange your photos... correct?

A: The Magnetic Photo Album Holds self adhesive pages that hold 31/2 x 51/4 , 4 x 6 , 4 x 7 , 5 x 7 , 8 x 10 and Most Panoramic Photos. My pictures from Israel are: 4 x 6 with captions written on notebook paper under each picture. The pages will hold up to 3 pictures this size depending on how you arrange them. It will also hold a picture printed off the computer if you trim it down to fit the page. The pages are full size.

A: You get 10 pages and you can mount on both sides, 20 surfaces.

Q: 6. how many pages total can this album hold including refills? i have 1500 photos - how many of these albums would i need?

A: 20 sheets can comfortably be used. On occasions I've squeezed in a few more, but the binding piece does not extend too far into the front and back covers, so you can only expand so much. Without knowing the sizes of the photos, it's impossible to tell how many you would need. You can fit six 4x6 photos on one page if they are all vertical or all horizontal.

A: I'm a longtime user of these scrapbooks, and the sticky part is pretty much the entire page. There's a very thin edge that's not sticky around the edges, but pretty much the entire page. And it's not so sticky where if you decide to pull the item back off the page to re-mount/adjust it ... you're O.K. They're the best albums of their kind!
