A: The StarTech Ultra HD 4K HDMI over Cat 5e/6 HDBaseT Extender Kit (230') only comes with one power supply; however, the kit can be powered from either side with an Ethernet cable delivering power to the corresponding side.

A: Yes, it should work.

Q: 4. Will this splitter reset all outputs when a new devise is attached to the output?

A: I agree with Jan on this. It's not always consistent. I find that if the device is powered (like a gopro) it picks it right up. If it's a mini recorder, or a device that runs off of another units power (thunderbolt from a macbook) it might not pick it up.

Q: 5. Does this product mirror or extend the monitors?

A: This product will mirror the input it is given. It accepts a single HDMI and it will split that same image out to 4 locations.

Q: 6. Has anybody used this device to feed HDMI over 200ft Cat5/6 to Black Magic switcher input?

A: We have tried to run 4 tv's 2 at 50ft and 2 at 100 - 200ft strictly HDMI off of this thing and it usually has an issue where 1 TV will turn off or loose signal. 4 tv's under 50ft usually works fine. Don't know about a single run though. if your converting over to cat 5 it would fall more on the hdmi to cat 5 converter I believe. This does not input or output cat 5/6.

Q: 8. Where do you get extra receivers without having to buy extra transmitters? Is there a link for that?

A: Unfortunately Muxlab only sells the MuxLab HDMI Wireless Extender Kit. They do not offer a receiver only option. At this time you would have to purchase the kit to add more wireless receivers.

Q: 9. WILL THIS WORK WITH usb 2.0?

A: Yes, the MuxLab SDI to USB 3.0 Video Capture & Streamer works with USB 2.0.

Q: 10. Would it be useful to put a camcorder at a distance?

A: We've had issues with distance on this model and had to switch to a different brand. The Kanex Pro 1x4 distribution model works great in our facilities, but this 1x1 has not worked well in a couple of different use cases.
