The 27" IPS panel is factory calibrated for a Delta E 0.6 average accuracy, delivering 1.07 billion colors that cover 98% of the DCI-P3 and 100% of the sRGB gamut. HDR10 support with a 10 million:1 dynamic contrast ratio enhances photos and videos with lifelike highlights and deep shadows.

Support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology with NVIDIA G-Sync and VESA Adaptive-Sync compatibility enables the monitor to dynamically adjust its refresh rate to the frame rate being output by the graphics card, thereby greatly reducing screen tearing, stuttering, and other artifacts.

Two HDMI 2.1 ports are available alongside one DisplayPort 1.4 input for high-bandwidth connections to compatible devices. This display can display video from two separate sources in split screen mode. The integrated USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub includes two side-facing USB-A and one USB-C port, each of which supports up to 10 Gb/s transfers with compatible devices. Plug a pair of headphones into the 3.5mm audio jack for listening privacy.

Reduce desktop clutter by connecting your compatible laptop to the USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, which lets you transfer video, data, and up to 100W of power over a single cable.

  • Pixel-perfect upscaling uses integer-ratio pixel duplication for low-resolution input signals to maintain the look of pixel art and keep retro games looking crisp.
  • A crosshair overlay assists your aim and gives a competitive advantage.
  • A Frame rate counter overlay shows you how well your system is performing.
  • Presets tuned by Blur Busters offer strong performance straight out of the box.

Complete your display with a separately purchased 100 x 100mm VESA mount stand.

[100 x 100 mm] Replaced an older 24 Dell monitor I use for my Photoshop menus. This is a much sharper and much better color. I had a difficult time profiling the old one. This one is now identical to my main HP Z27s in color.

[IPS-Type LCD] After much research about what monitor to pair with a new computer I build for photo and video editing I went with the Dell U2723QE for the higher definition and color profile. It has been an excellent monitor for both photo and video. I have my old monitor next to it in a dual monitor setup where I place other open program and this has improved my productivity greatly

[IPS-Type LCD] Have purchased and tried dozens of screens for the office, from all kinds of brands. This, hands down, is the best 4K IPS panel I've seen.

27 keeps the pixel density pretty high (though not as high as the 5k 27 Apple Studio retina displays, but those are limited to 60hz, which now feel laggy in comparison).

The upside is the refresh rate. 144hz (adjustable to 120hz too via MacOS settings), brings it into line with Apple's Pro Motion display on the Macbook Pro M-series (120hz). It makes a huge difference in the smoothness of the user interface. Everything feels very liquid and fast.

Screen has a nice understated design, unlike most 4k 144hz+ monitors that seems to be targeting gamers. Has thin bezels (if that's your thing).

100w USB-C power and USB hub is good. Lots of ports supported (HDMI, Displayport, USB-B, USB-C).

No compatibility issues with the Mac, true plug and play. One quirk I've noticed (though most non-Apple monitors do this), is that sometimes the monitor doesn't automatically wake when the Mac is put to sleep, so you have to press the monitor's power button to turn it back on. Not a big deal, just something to note.

I got the Gorilla Glass option, definitely helps reduce reflections while keeping the sharp glossy colors, again making it much closer in feel and color appearance to the Macbook's Pro motion display. Color tones out of the box are very good, didn't need to manually calibrate a custom color profile.

Overall very happy with this monitor. Bought through BHPhoto as I heard the Dough (formerly Eve) company used to have a hit-or-miss reputation so if I need to return the unit, BHPhoto is easier to deal with.

Product is great so far, very pleased with it.

[100 x 100 mm] Very impressed with this monitor. It is the monitor I got to replace my 9 yr. old Imac retina. Had to turn the brightness down to be similar to what I was used to. My wife said she can't tell the difference between this and our Retina Imac monitor

[144 Hz] I bought this as an upgrade from an older Dell U2715H purchased in 2015. My older UltraSharp still worked well, but the lack of USB-C docking and power was inconvenient, and I needed to use all three USB-C ports on my laptop when working at my desk. With the U2723QE, just one USB-C plug handles them monitor, power, external hard drive, and a slew of accessories connected to the monitor.

The upgrade from sRGB to Display P3 is nice, too... but may not be hugely noticeable, depending on what you're using the monitor for.

Finally, the U2723QE works perfectly with the MonitorControl app (macOS only) when you want to adjust the brightness of the monitor using your Mac keyboard's brightness buttons.

[3840 x 2160] I realized that trying on a 15 laptop screen to view and do post-production of my photos wasn't working well, especially color callibration. I have a Dell laptop and the Dell monitor works perfectly with it. As advertised, the 27 monitor is super-sharp and the callibration is correct (even comes with a sheet showing the callibration test). Now my reprints are exactly what I see on the screen!

[27"] I bought this monitor for my fiancee for her grad studies, as I have been loving my u2720qm for remote work. I'm a bit envious- as much as I love my monitor, every minor gripe has been fixed with the u2723qe. There are enough USB ports that I wouldn't need to daisy-chain a hub like I do with mine, the joystick and menu are less annoying than the buttons on the older model, and there's a cool KVM feature that would let me switch from my work laptop to my Mac mini without needing to swap the usb-c cable. I can't really tell the difference in display quality, but they are both exemplary. For as much as we'll be using these monitors and for as long as we plan to keep them, they're well worth the investment.
