[Leather] I had two pairs of free hands for photography and for cool places. I had other pair of setwear and I used this and I will use these other (news) for driver motorcycle.

[Leather] Great glove for a Grip or Gaffer, keeps my hands safe from being pinched, cut, and it keeps the cable grime and debris from getting on your hands.


My last pair of leather gloves were around $15. They didn't fit too well, they were hot - made my hands sweat, and were tough to put on. These breathe better, slide on effortlessly, great feel though the leather, and they offer decent protection for hot lights, but I'd get the hot version if you pan to use them around larger fixtures, my biggest hot light is a 2K.


I was also used to motorcycle level quality gloves and these definitely stood up in terms of stitching, and feel for the price. I was using these on a job immediately, they broke in super fast! I'll update if they let me down.

[Leather] I love these gloves AFTER they are broken in. It takes a while to get them softened up and the first couple of times you get real sweaty in them the dye will leak making you think you really bruised your thumbs in weird ways. But after a a month or so of good wear they are perfect. I had my last pair for many years and was devastated when I lost just one (use the Velcro loop to keep them on a carabiner! Never trust a glove clip). I do wish the logo was a little more subtle though - it's a bit flashy for backstage work and I feel pretentious letting everyone know I bought the expensive gloves. But I do it because it's nearly impossible to find black fingerless gloves in small.

Note: I am female and my hands are not small in comparison to other women, but I ordered these in small and they are just slightly bigger than I'd like. As they wear in they will fit better I think. It's unfortunate they are not washable but I have found a few sanitizer sprays that I can spritz the inside with every few weeks to reduce glove stank.

[0.25 lb] I use these gloves for working in the theatre and out on the road. They are great in every way, from handling lights to moving heavy road cases. I love these gloves and would buy another pair.

[9 x 6 x 0.5"] I was getting ready to work on my first set and needed something to protect my hands. Everyone I talked to recommended these so I decided to get them. These gloves were absolutely wonderful, and incredibly versatile. They went a long way to protect against the heat of set lights, and the cold of outdoor winter locations. I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t have them. They were worth every dollar I spent on them.

As a female grip, it really fits my small hands and it protects me from so many hazards (heat, grip, and more)!
