A: If you used a Bowens adapter https://bhpho.to/2TeiRsc and a bowens adapter for the 580 EX https://bhpho.to/2EuSYhI then you could use it with a speedlight. [Black] Though I found the 14-42 lens to generally provide good image quality, the 14-54 II is easily superior to me. The slightly longer focal length is welcome as is the larger aperture for brighter viewing and faster shutter speeds when needed. I've found no fault with the AF speed or lock-on. The additional weight improves balance to my E-620 (my left hand is always under the lens with fingers around the zoom ring). I'm seeing consistent superiority in resolution, contrast, and slightly better color rendition. That includes when it's shot wide open. It's my first high grade lens. I'm convinced enough that I'm now saving for the 11-22mm f2.8-3.5. Some others are firmly on the dream list.

[Black] I bought this lens to use on my E-PL1(you will need the 4/3 to m4/3 adapter for this) and have been very well pleased. I think for the price of the lens it is a very good buy. It is built reasonably well, is very sharp, produces good colors, and will go down to 1:1 magnification. I have found that it works best with stationary objects when using it as a macro. With the E-PL1, using the lens in manual focus mode with mf-assist enabled can produce excellent results. At 'normal' range, the lens is not the fastest focusing out there, but it isn't too bad either.

[Black] I have used the lens in various shooting situations, Weddings,Fashion shows, nature and still life. This lens focuses fast and accurate when used with the E 30 and E 3. Fast speed for a lens of this focal length 2.8/3.5. A bit on he heavy side, but it is expected with good glass

[Black] I freelance for North Jersey Media and thought it was time to move away from the kit lenses I was getting with my bodies that were much slower. I don't know if there's a difference in weight from my old short zoom but this one seems no heavier. I've been shooting general news and sports assignments for a couple of weeks now with it and I'm extremely happy. Wish I had bought it sooner.

[Black] The range is remarkable (600mm at 35mm standard)! and in comparison with all others it is very compact. Smooth to use and crystal clear images from this glass. I use this mainly to take birds and am very impressed with the outcomes.
