Crafted with shock-absorbing neoprene, it is designed to protect your camera from scratches, dings, and accidental impact while guarding against dust and the elements. Cutouts on the cover allow for all buttons and switches to be accessed, and a clear plastic back and windows on top allow the camera to be used while the cover is in place. The Barska grip would be sufficient enough to support the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV Mirrorless Camera (B&H # OLEM10M4B) and the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm f/5-6.3 IS Lens (B&H # OL100400B). Another more rugged option would be the Novoflex Q-Griff Arca-Compatible Hand Grip (B&H # NOQG), which uses an Arca-Type plate system.

A: As an aditional grip abslolutely, but as additional release button no, because there is no cable release otption on this model of camera, the trigger button only works on cameras with cable release option

It is a little bit tight for my Canon 1Dx, but it will do the trick just fine. I bought it to protect my LCD screen while on safari and traveling. I have seen too many LCD screens get cracked when the safari vehicle goes over a bump that you aren't expecting. These body guards are a great proactive solution. 5

These neoprene covers are high quality and provide great protection. The only change I may make is to add two slits with velcro closures to easily accomodate my camera straps. 5

Will fit most cameras with a batter grip. It does a good job at keeping your camera warm when shooting in cold conditions. Really good for shooting in snowy weather. 5

I was worried when other reviews stated that this cover is exceptionally tight. However, I have a Canon 5D MKII with battery grip, hand strap, extended eyepiece, quick release plate, and a neck strap, and this cover easily slid over it all on the first try. I've read that different production batches can be slightly different sizes, so no guarantees, but this is plenty big for me. I'm sure I could even add a compact GPS to the hot shoe and have it still fit (tightly, but it would fit). It's a great camera body cover that pulls on and off easily. Some of the small lens covers from LensCoat can feel a little cheap, but for protecting a body or a larger lens, they make great products. 5
