Capture high-resolution 1080p60 imagery in your conference room, event space, or house of worship with the black BZBGEAR ADAMO HD 20x PTZ Camera Kit with Wall Mountfrom BZBGear. This camera features a 1/2.8" 2.07MP CMOS sensor, a 20x optical zoom, accurate autofocus, subject auto-tracking, and simultaneous output via HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and IP streaming with SRT support. You can embed analog audio into your video using the 3.5mm audio input.

You can record the camera's capture up to 1080p60 resolution onto an optional microSD card up to 1TB. The camera features LED tally lights to indicate the camera is on or idle. The camera supports PoE (Power-over-Ethernet), so it can be controlled, powered, and can stream over one connector, and it also supports RS-232 and RS-422 serial control.

Q: 1. Is there a mounting mechanism on the bottom to mount to a 1/4 or 3/8 tripod mount?

A: From the person who is using this:Yes, there is a tripod mount screw on the bottom, not sure about the size

Q: 2. For live streaming Can you connect the usb directly to your laptop or Do you have to have game card reader(elgato or something else)? Using your 65' Usb extension, will there be a lapse in communications between camera and computer?

A: A capture card is not needed to live stream. Using the free Open Broadcaster Caster software to broadcast directly, you will be able to stream without a capture card. For a single USB 2.0 cables, the max length is 5 meters. For a single USB 3.0/3.1 cables, the recommended max length is 3 meters. In order to extend your USB cable length, we recommend using a self-powered USB hub, active (repeater) cables, or USB over Ethernet unit to extend the USB range.

Q: 3. Is 60fps the only frame rate available? Currently we're running all our cameras at 25fps

A: The AViPAS AV-1082G can be set to 5-30 fps.

Q: 4. Is there a wall mount bracket for this camera?

A: Panasonic does not offer a wall mount for it. They have a ceiling mount only. For wall mounting it is recommended to sit it on a shelf.

Q: 5. PoE+ switches have a max WATT limit.What is the WATT budget required for a PoE+ hub to connect up to 4 of these cameras? I can't find anywhere the max WATT a camera needs when powered over Ethernet.

A: Specifications on Panasonic web site indicates Power requirements for PoE+ power supply is DC 42V to 57V and Current consumption of 0.4A per camera. Using an online calculator, that brings up the Watts requirement to about 23W. So for 4 cameras, a 100W switch should be sufficient. I got the Linksys 24-Port Business Gigabit PoE+ Switch (LGS124P) which supports 120W and I have 4 PoE+ Panasonic cameras hooked up to it and have not had problems. Switch fan is kind of loud though.

Q: 6. I need the software AW-SFU01G for the camera, where can i find it ?

A: Panasonic website, its all there

Q: 7. IS this PAL or NTSC, or does it matter?

A: This can actually do both and PAL only matters if you live in a country that only uses PAL as a broadcast system and you are using this to broadcast directly to TV.

Q: 8. How does one compensate for the changing aperture at different focal lengths? I'm assuming the only way to do it is to have it auto-expose and gain up when you zoom in. Is the gain clean?

A: We have not had a problem with relying on the auto-iris at different focal lengths. We usually us it that way as we have a variety of system operators, but have not seen any reason to tweak the gain.

Q: 9. Has anyone used this camera connected to a Tricaster Mini? Can the Pan Tilt and Zoom be controlled by the IP connector? Thank you!

A: Yes, you can do so with an Tricaster Mini. Access up to 4 live Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) robotic cameras via standard serial and network protocols, with native preset system and user interface control over camera orientation, zoom, focus and iris.

Q: 10. Can the LAN connection be used to do camera control and video output at the same time?

A: No the Lan output is only for IP video out the Control Interface is the 8-Pin Mini-DIN (RS-232)

[5.05 to 91.49mm] We decided to take a chance on these and have found they work flawlessly in a modern IP driven studio. These run perfectly on POE (just one cable for everything) and VMix picks them up instantly. Quality of the image is excellent, low light is good, zoom is very good, autofocus is good (great when you've got your lighting right). We're looking at how to use NDI Bridge to put these in venues around town to bring live shows to the station. Still working out the kinks on that, but, if it works, we'll be order half a dozen or more of these things to spread all over the city. 5

[Yes] I've made of a lot of money using these cameras. They are fun to operate, and the image quality is nice relative to the cost and capability of the overall package. Although some other companies produce nice images in their PTZs, Panasonic is the leader in image and control for this sector, if you want to be able to operate these and make live moves. 5

[0.05 Lux] I have installed many PTZ cameras over the years. This mount, while more expensive than many is worth it. It has an optional plate that allows the camera to sit forward and use the Panasonic-provided rear cover for the connections. It is easy to mount and has a generous cutout in the rear for cabling to a wall mount gang box or low-voltage ring. 5

[f/1.8 to 2.9] This camera has met our needs, we have a variety of colors due to the constant changes due to our lights being halogen and our windows are stained color glass. Makes it hard to do color balancing, this camera has so many adjustable settings that we get amazing image. 5

[5.9 lb] This is a very good camera, the preset set up is very easy to do. If you are going to hook this up to a computer, you were going to need some type of capture card and also a audio input source as well. 5

[20x] Having owned the HE-120's I didn't want to settle for a cheaper camera with cheap movement, light sensitivity and colour, and I'm really glad I didn't. The UE-150 is a wonderful camera with even smoother movement, wider lens and fantastic image quality when I compare it to my old HE-120's. It matched easily with my CX-350 and has been a dream to work with. I wish it came with a PSU....I mean at that price I couldn't even turn it on, had to go get a 4 pin XLR PSU. Lame! 5
