Q: 1. When the V-mount battery goes low, does the camera's LCD screen give a warning?

A: No, the Tilta Battery Plate does not provide battery status communication to the LCD of the camera.

Q: 2. Dose it regulates the voltage for fx6 ? 19.5v constant when mounted with a v-mount battery ?

A: Yes, as this device is specifically designed for powering the Sony FX6, it is outputting the appropriately regulated voltage.

Q: 3. Does this (in v-mount) have 2 or 3 D-taps on it? Tilta’s website says two, here says three… some photos show three, others two??

A: The Tilta Battery Plate for Sony FX6 Type II (V-Mount) has 3 D-Taps on it.

Q: 4. Does the D-Tap provide enough output to power an Atomos Shinobi 7" ext monitor?

A: Yes. Likely one of the easiest and most versatile methods would be to use a D-tap to NP-F dummy battery.

Q: 5. Does the plate tilt? Can we adjust the angle?

A: Yes. The following unit does offer a tilting feature to adjust at angles.

Q: 9. Currently using fx6 with v mount plant tilta, but i'm having voltage warning sign. (i changed the voltage warning to 16.0V) anyway how to fix?

A: Sounds like you might be getting a low voltage warning, since the FX6 is supposed to work off of 18 to 20.5 VDC via the power port. Maybe try using a different V-mount battery with the Tilta Battery Plate for Sony FX6 (V-Mount) and see if that gives you different results.

[1.395 lb] Not much to say. It does exactly what it says it does and I've had no issues with it.

[1] No problem, perfect item. Just a remark : in the description of the products, it is not easy to compare type I and type II. Type I allows the use of an HDMI socket and leaves room for side cables. Type II is smaller. Both types provide 7.3 volts output.

[1] Very low profile which is nice for the FX6 but honestly it's probably overkill since the standard Sony BPU batteries last so long.

[Aluminum Alloy] I have no problems with the design, and it has one huge advantage: with the battery in you can press the camera to your chest for handheld work.

[V-Mount] I use this to pair a Nano V-Mount battery onto my Z-Cam E2 S6, and it works perfectly. It locks into the NP battery port on the Z-Cam and securely holds a V-Mount to the rear. Note that Tilta makes a type-I and type-II of these. This type-I allows you to still access the ports on the rear of the Z-Cam.

[Aluminum Alloy] no issues whatsoever. have this and the top plate on my fx6 and it's a perfect combo. doesnt overheat, the ports are solid, and with good vmount batteries you'll be shooting all day without incident. I get several hours out of 1 battery while shooting on my fx6 with audio and using a ninja v.

[V-Mount] If you mess with it after first adding it to the camera's battery mount, it is easy to think, well this isn't very sturdy but after several months of...tough love...this piece is still solid as ever and hasn't let me down yet.
