Q: 1. Can the parts in the 6x6 kit be used to make a 4x4 frame or a 4x6 frame?

A: The Avenger H600M 6.0 x 6.0' Modular Overhead Frame comes with the following pipe parts and that can be used to create a 2', 4' or 6' frame along with the elbows and ears: 47.4" (120.5 cm) x6 24" (61 cm) x6

Q: 2. Is this compatible with the older Arri MB20?

A: No. It is not compatible with the Arri MB20.

Q: 3. Any concerns with color shift vs other popular models? (Such as the Revar cine product?)

A: It is recommended you white balance with it on as with any filter but once you have there would be no color shift no. This is an excellent circular polarizer.

Q: 4. I have a case, which is open enough for charging my phone. Can I connect the mic without removing the case?

A: Although you are able to connect a Lightning cable to your phone with the case attached, it is not possible to say with certainty whether or not the mic fit while the case is attached. The Lightning connector on the mic is attached directly to the mic's body and the mic is designed to fit flush against the phone. You will have to test it to see if the case provides enough clearance around the Lightning port to accommodate the mic. The only way to know for sure is to try it out.

Q: 5. What is the diameter of the steel support cable, 1/8 (3.2mm)or 3/16 (4.8mm)?

A: Support cables are not included with this frame.

Q: 6. Could this frame go from the 12x12 to a 6x6?

A: As is the Avenger H1200M 12 x 12' Modular Overhead Frame can not be made to 6x6. Each section it comes with is 4 feet. And is made of three sections. You can make it 8x8 or 4x4 feet.

Q: 7. Is the corner pieces the same size as the Avenger 8x8 frame? #AVH800M

A: Yes the corner pieces are the same as the Avenger H800M frame.

Q: 8. is it possible to build this Butterly in a 8x8, 12x12 or 12x20 version with the Tubes included in the kit?

A: Yes, with the 20x20 kit you can reduce the tubes and make it smaller frames.

Q: 9. Is the glass inside 138mm or a 4.5" filter?

A: I contacted ARRI concerning your inquiry. They state they do not have the filter on hand to measure, and while their website does not list the glass size measurement, they do believe it is a 4.5" filter. They state if you require the 138mm size, you need to go with a larger matte box and purchase the ARRI Rota Pola Filter Frame 6.6x6.6, B&H # ARK20017086.

Q: 10. Can you confirm if the tubing is 1" inch square tubing?

A: These tubes are 30mm.

[15 lb] Love the adjust-ability. Can fit this in my car much easier since it breaks down to 2' and 4' pieces. Sturdy once built, will not twist or bow in the wind. 5

[Aluminum, Steel] Fantastic build quality, and great image quality. The locking mechanism is a nice touch for when you find your sweet spot. It's wildly expensive but it's ARRI, what did you expect? 5

[15 lb] Got this because holding my phone between my thumb and middle finger for long periods of time filming was not pleasant. This kit provides a better grip, holds phone securely. The light is nice in low or no light conditions but you need to use light diffuser filming people to soften the harshness of the light, the mic and windsock are great in windy conditions. 5

[15 lb] This huge frame fits nicely into my compact car for all sorts of shoots. The lack of nobs and the easy folding was the selling point for me. It makes it much easier to keep track of everything and to have it neatly stored away. I've used this on several outdoor shoots and it is very steady in the wind. I recommend a third attachment point to the ground if its really blowing, but I'd say that with any 8by frame. 5
