[Black] I was looking for a cage to fit my larger 9 inch monitor, the Lilliput A8. Everything seems to be set for five or seven inch screens. This design is solid simple and very versatile I can use it on almost any screen. It’s using a mix of standard 15mm rods, so I can even mix and match it with my other rig items. Loving this piece. Going to go well in my kit as a directors monitor and who knows what in the future.

[Aluminum Alloy] I'm using this as a cage for the Zoom H3-VR, which fits perfectly inside, mounts a 360 camera on top, and fits on a light weight aluminum tripod. The entire rig weighs less than 5 lbs thanks to the aluminum Camvate cage. Great fit and finish, all threads are smooth, no flex in the cage, and the anodized black with white lettering is sharp.

[Aluminum Alloy] I have combined a HD Video Receiver, V Mount plate and a 10in monitor to make it into a director's monitor. Works great.

[Aluminum Alloy] Went for this as a flexible and affordable director's monitor option, liking it so far. Using with a Osee G7. The 15mm rods it comes with are 8 inches, but I swapped in 6-inch ones which are a perfect fit for the height of my 7in monitor. It's an inch or two too wide, but also like $100 cheaper than other options out there, and if I ever got a slightly larger monitor nice that it would still be able to fit. Note that if you mount V-lock batteries directly on the back of your monitor, you may not be able to slot them in with the cage installed. I plan on adding a v-lock mini plate to the top, and mounting a nato rail for our wireless receiver.

[Black] This frame has an incredible amount of versatility for adjusting its size to hold and shield the larger framed cameras. This requires a tripod that is known for its stability and a professional video head equal to the Manfrotto MVH500AH or its equivalent, or even better. Regardless when used in studio or field environments, this frame is actually capable of mounting more than one camera and still offers plenty of space available for adding several accessories commonly used for photography.....
The overall adjustment possibilities are quite extensive with height ranging from 6 to 9 inches. Height can still be extended even more simply by replacing the standard 15mm rods that slide inside the handles with a set of rods up to 18, also readily available from B&H Photo.....
Standard width is 10.5 but does not necessarily exclude using a wider camera because of the added forward and rearward adjustment of the base. The base is provided with a Manfrotto 501 style quick release plate and can be raised or lowered using the adjustable slide screw located between the rods. The base can also be moved sideways for centering between the two outer handles. A top plate is also provided with an adjustable cold shoe insert that can provide a very solid anchor for the camera when fastened to the hot shoe receptacle.....
Industry standards allow for using components from the various brands to mix & match with this unit for even more protection and versatility. There are several component bundles that can be added to the C1772 for better handling and offer even better protection for the lens or LCD screen. Using a few low cost add-ons, my camera now has an immense amount of protection in case of tripod tip over so the impact will be absorbed by the frame and will not impact the camera directly. For risky instances I'm also not beyond using bubble wrap or foam padding, but still need protection from rain or (heaven forbid) being dunked in the pond.
