The OWC Atlas CFexpress 4.0 Type B Readerfrom OWC Atlas CFexpress 4.0 Type B Readeroffers a high-speed workflow with fast transfer speeds. Equipped with one CFexpress 4.0 Type B slot, this reader takes advantage of the 40 Gb/s USB4 bus to deliver transfer speeds of up to 5000 MB/s. Compatible with Windows, Mac, Chrome, iOS, iPadOS, and Android, this card reader may be used with USB-C, Thunderbolt 3, and Thunderbolt 4 ports and operates using bus power. [0.48 lb] I use the OWC Atlas Pro CFexpress card with a Nikon Z9 to photograph backyard birds in flight at 20 fps. The card has yet to slow or disappoint while shooting or uploading. 5

[Yes] The OWC cards are a small fraction of the cost of Sony cards and they work just as well. I have seen _no_ difference at all. None. Performance is excellent and the Sony equivalent (and I don't think it exists in this capacity) is absurdly expensive. Sony is trying to rob users blind. The OWC cards (and there are larger cards) allow me to go on a weeklong trip with no worries about running out of storage. A second card in a two-card camera also gives you redundancy. Two such Sony cards would have cost as much as some cameras. 5

[0.48 lb] I just received my card reader. Tried it out and the speeds are awesome. Build quality is nice and sturdy and its quite small relative to other card readers which is nice for traveling. Although I ordered a new product, B&H sent me a used one. This seems to be happening quite a bit lately from them, which is quite frustrating. They are helpful in shipping it back and replacing with a new one, but the time and effort isn't a great experience. 5

[Yes] Super fast card. The only card that didn't give me any errors when my Nikon Z9 recorded 8K 60 Raw in high (vs normal) quality video mode - that's the highest setting I could go. This card ran like a champion without any issues. Highly recommended - stop reading now. Just buy it while B&H has this on sale. 5

[5 x 4.7 x 1.6"] I just took a couple of these on a trip to Chile (Rapa Nui and Patagonia). Under heavy use and tough conditions (cold, wet and humid with serious condensation), the cards performed flawlessly. No issues whatsoever. No noticeable lag when storing large numbers of photos during focus stacking with Nikon Z8. Also, with the right card reader and computer, uploading photos is extremely fast. A well made card. Highly recommended! 5

[Yes] Getting blazing speeds via a USB 4.0 port. The build quality of the reader is also excellent and it feels quite heavy for its size, which would indicate that there's likely a good amount of heatsink material inside to help the reader run cool. No complaints at all so far. 5

[5 x 4.7 x 1.6"] I've had limited use so far, but these cards have met my expectations after two shoots. I bought two to use in my Sony A1 while shooting high-speed bursts in large, compressed RAW recording to them simultaneously. During a three-hour editorial shoot, I managed to fill both cards with around 6,800 images, and the buffer performance was nearly flawless. The cost savings compared to competitor cards sealed the deal for me. 5

[0.48 lb] This is by far the best card I've ever owned. I have 4 of them and have used it on photo shoots worldwide. The cards have been dependable, fast, and allow me to keep shooting while rarely hitting the buffer (even in fast packed wildlife action photography). 5

[0.48 lb] I bought based on recommendation of the first reviewer. There's really no difference between this and the Sony Tough. I got the 2TB and runs smoothly. Even faster than Sony Tough when writing to computer. You'll get the warning if used in Burano since they did not go for sustained speed VPG 400 credentialing but they are clearly very fast. 5
