Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I read that this card is good for z7 but not z8 is that true? How so? I know it works with d850 but have D800. Is it compatible

A: Yes, this card is not ideal to use on a Z8 if you are taking videos at 8K30p and 4K120p Video, 10-Bit Internal or photos at 20 fps RAW as this requires a faster card. Nikon D800 accepts CompactFlash Memory Card so CFexpress 2.0 Type B cards are not compatible.

Q: 2. 128GB Work for Canon Eos R5 8K Raw Video?

A: Yes

Q: 3. Will this work with a Canon 1DX mkii ?

A: No, the Canon 1DX Mark ii only accepts CompactFlash and CFast cards. This is a CFexpress card. Check the listed accessories under the Canon 1DX Mark ii for other compatible cards.

Q: 4. What is the warranty on the ProGrade CFexpress card?

A: ProGrade covers these cards against defects up to 3 years in the US only.

Q: 5. Are these cards compliant with the RED Raptor S35 and Komodo-X?

A: The ProGrade Digital 2TB CFexpress 2.0 Type B Gold Memory Card (2-Pack) is compatible with RED cameras.

Q: 6. Is this unit compatible with Sony a7r v?

A: No, the ProGrade Digital 256GB CFexpress 2.0 Type B Gold Memory Card is not compatible with the Sony a7R V Mirrorless Camera. The a7R V uses CFexpress Type A cards, not Type B. For that camera one can use the ProGrade Digital 160GB CFexpress Type A Cobalt Memory Card, BH #PRPGCFXA160 (https://bhpho.to/3k4ojjz).

Q: 7. will this card work with Hasselblad X2D? and is there a limit in capacity? I m aware that officially only up to 512Gb

A: The ProGrade Digital 512GB CFexpress 2.0 Type B Gold Memory Card (2-Pack) is not an approved memory card for the Hasselblad X2D. If it is used you may get an error message saying that this card might not operate properly. If you are planning to ignore that message the card may work. Larger 1tb cards will also work if you are planning on ignoring the error message.

Q: 8. Can this card work in the XQD slot in my Nikon D850? Will it work in an XQD card reader? What is the difference between a CFexpress card and an XQD card?

A: Yes this would work in the XQD slot. Only difference is speed. CFexpress is much faster

Q: 9. Does this card work with Sony FX3?

A: The ProGrade Digital 128GB CFexpress 2.0 Type B Gold Memory Card is not compatible with the Sony FX3. That camera is able to read SD or CFexpress Type A cards. Unfortunately CFexpress Type B cards are not compatible.

Q: 10. Where is this card made in?

A: The following unit is made in Taiwan.

[0.015 lb] Great results with128GB so bought same card only bigger again to have 256GB. I have used the 128GB in my Canon R5 for over a year with great results. Be good to have extra storage when needed (if needed)

[480 GB] Bought this card six months ago as my first non-SD camera memory card and I'm never looking back. Extremely fast, very reliable. It's worked without a hitch for half a year, so I trust it pretty wholeheartedly. Offloads nice and fast and I just never even have to worry about getting stuck behind its transfer speeds. CFexpress is the way.

[0.015 lb] If your camera can use XQD and/or CFexpress and you've been using XQDs .... upgrade to Prograde , you'll thank yourself !

[1] I've used ProGrade cards in my 1Dx Mark II and they've been reliable. There wasn't any hesitation when I purchased these cards for my R3. They've been working great both in the camera and card reader.

[PCI-Express 3.0] Fastest transfer rates I have ever seen in a camera card. It is super quick dropping photos from my card via card reader. Quality is high, with a sturdy metal casing. If your camera needs a super fast transfer/write speed for video or sports photography, you will not be disappointed by this card and it will NOT be your weakest link in slowing your FPS down. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

[PCI-Express 3.0] I am using this card in both a Nikon Z6 and Z6 ii. I wanted additional in-camera storage for 4k video when the video is less than 30 minutes. Otherwise I use an Atmos Ninja V.

[PCI-Express 3.0] They are memory cards -- they store stuff, and they do it pretty well. Not a lot to talk about other than I have used these and other format Prograde Cards for quite some time. I have quite a few. These had a great price point in the 2-pack. They are fast, they are durable, and have thus far proven very reliable. (Presently these are used in a Canon R5 bodies and I have not found any limitation other than the obvious capacity - buy what size you need.)

[PCI-Express 3.0] Using in R5 for 3 or 4 weeks & it works fine. I have no hard data/measurements but it seems like I am getting better battery life compared to my delkin 256. & it seems to run cooler. I shoot all still photos mostly in ES 20fps
