Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what profile to use with Canon Pixma Pro-100?

A: If you are using LightRoom, go to your Print function, select the printer button, select the print settings function, under the first choice there you may find a preset labeled metallic luster. that's the way it is on mine though it may be there because I have an epson printer and may not be the same on your screen

Q: 2. Is this paper considered archival when coupled with archival inks?

A: YES, YES, YES....and YES!

Q: 3. Which ICC profile do you use for this paper and the R2000?

A: Premium Glossy Photo Paper profile from Epson

Q: 4. can this paper be used in a R1800?

A: I've used it sucessfully in an pro 3880 if that helps

Q: 5. What profile should I use with this paper on an Epson Stylus 4800?

A: "Premium Photo Paper Glossy."

Q: 6. Can theEpson metallic photo paper glossy be used with the R2000?

A: That's a question best answered by Epson. I have the R3000 and the prints are really outstanding. Sharpness of photos on this paper really stands out and the colors are perfectly reproduced

Q: 7. Can this be used with Epson Artisan 1430?

A: I have the Photo Stylus 1400 which is the version before this one. I use the Premium Photo Luster settings and Correct Hue Only color correction settings and everything works as it does with regular glossy paper.

Q: 8. I'm looking for a 13x19 paper that could give me the effect like there is light coming from the paper, like the effect you can get with the Fujifilm Cristal paper. What paper could give that results?. Will this metallic paper be useful for that purpose or there is another paper you sell that could give me better results? Thanks

A: Since the Fuji Crystal Archive Paper is a high glossy paper, I would recommend trying the Epson Metallic Photo Paper Glossy. But it really depends on the image what will look good and give you that glow. Images that rely on a gradient to establish contrast, rather than stark changes in color and darkness, sometimes will not have enough punch. Where the metallic seems to work best is when the luminosity of the silver white and the pure black can play against each other.

Q: 9. Is it acid free?

A: RC papers are not classified as acid-free.

Q: 10. Is this paper compatible with Epson Pro 3880?

A: Yes, this paper will work with the 3880.

[95%] I use a lot of the Epson Metallic paper in my Canon Pro10 printer. I bought the larger 17x22 paper and I can cut it to sizes I need. It makes beautiful prints and provides a certain glow that regular glossy paper does not have.

[Single] The very best metallic paper I've found so far. Printing B&W and color prints on this paper using an Epson P800 produces the sharpest prints I've seen from the P800. The paper base is very grey so you wouldn't want any of the base showing in framed photos. The sheen is amazing with no surface texture. A very unique look similar to sublimated metal prints.

[1.025 lb] I've used this paper in various sizes for numerous art prints. I especially like it for monochrome prints. I have used it on both my pigment and dye printers with good results. The prints look especially impressive if viewed with bright light.

[95%] I read the reviews for this printer and almost didn't order it. However, I decided to give it a try and have now had two weeks of problem-free printing. I did not have any of the paper loading problems or gear grinding noises that others have mentioned. I had enough ink left over from the initial cartridges to print about ten 11x14 prints. The color and sharpness are extremely good. If I end up having problems, I'll return and update my review.

[81%] The best metallic photo paper I've used and I've used several. I would like for it to be a heavier weight paper but....... I'll continue using it because the Epson Metallic Glossy has excellent image quality.
