Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this charge the 70D?

A: The Canon LC-E6 Charger for LP-E6 Battery Pack listed above may be used to charge the Canon LP-E6 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.2V, 1800mAh) which is included with the Canon EOS 70D DSLR camera. While it does not charge the Canon EOS 70D itself (you would need an AC adapter to provide continuous power to the camera -- the Canon ACK-E6 AC Adapter Kit for Select Canon Cameras, B&H # CAACKE6), the Canon LC-E6 Charger for LP-E6 Battery Pack is the correct charger that was originally included with the Canon EOS 70D DSLR camera.

Q: 2. Just want to verify that if I want to use this charger in Thailand or India I only need to get a plug adaptor. I don't need an AC adaptor as well. Is this correct?

A: Yes, that is correct. The battery charger is a multi-voltage charger, and can be used in any region, but simply needs a plug tip adapter to fit into foreign outlets.

Q: 3. Does this charger work with lp-el speedlight batteries also ?

A: Yes, the Canon LC-E6 charger will accommodate the following type batteries. Canon LP-E6 Canon LP-E6N

Q: 4. Is there a usb-c version of this?

A: I'm sorry, no, you would have to try using a USB-USB-c adapter.

Q: 5. What do I need to charge the battery pack?

A: The Jupio PowerVault DSLR External Battery Pack for Canon LP-E6 (28Wh) can be charged using the included USB cable and a USB power bank.

Q: 6. Does this charger work for the Canon EOS R?

A: Yes. The following unit will charge your LP-E6 batteries.

Q: 7. Does this charger work for LP-E6N for Canon 80D? My camera bag was stolen with my charger inside. Camera is worthless without a battery charger.

A: Thank you!

Q: 8. Can this be charged while using the camera for use as a continuous wall power source?

A: No, the Jupio PowerVault DSLR External Battery Pack for Canon LP-E6 (28Wh) can not be charged while in use.

Q: 9. Does this work for LP-E6NH batteries?

A: Yes, the Jupio USB Dedicated Duo Charger for Canon LP-E6 Batteries is compatible with Canon LP-E6NH batteries.

Q: 10. I have multiple instances of LP-E6, including 2 that came with EOS R and R5 bodies. I didn't pay attention to differences with those newest instances, but now I notice that three of the units are marked as Model DS510101; those units show an output amperage of 1.2A. The unit without that model designation (presumably older) shows amperage of 1A. What is the benefit of that extra .2A output? Is it important for LP-E6N and/or LP-E6NH variants of the batter packs?

A: The LP-E6NH (newer model) has 14% more power than the LP-E6N and is backward compatible with older cameras up to the EOS 60D. Due to the high-resolution and processing power in these new mirrorless cameras, they require a higher-capacity battery. You can also still use the previous LP-E6N and LP-E6 batteries on the EOS R5, but keep in mind they will emit less power.

[Simultaneous] This is a great product! Thoroughly thought through. I love now having my batteries and memory card together in 1 place while really reducing the about of stuff that needs to be carried around and managed. Highly Recommend.

[LED] This product was obviously made by a photographer. The spacial consolidation and the combining of tools makes more room in your bag. The ability to identify which batteries are fully charged is great. always having back up cards is super cool. Great Design!

[3] nice charger, little pricey but does keep this together, easy to see which batteries are full and which are empty. Great for travel to destination but it does add some weight to your bag. At the start of the hike, you might want to leave it in the air B&B.

[Simultaneous] I love this thing. It gives me battery storage as well as the ability to charge 3 batteries at the same time. It stores my memory cards, and could in a pinch charge my phone. The only thing it won't do is read the memory cards, but that would be asking a bit too much.

[3] As someone who travels, it was a pain to bring my old usb type A dual battery charger and have my memory cards floating around my bag. My old charger was slow charging and noisy. Also having to carry a usb type A cable was annoying when the rest of my tech travel system is type C. This charger has been great at streamlining my travel setup!

Pro:
-Charges 3 batteries at once
-Quiet
-USB type C

Con:

-Slightly bigger than i expected.
-Memory cards can be slightly hard to put in and take out.
