Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work on a Godox V860iii speedlite?

A: As of the time of this writing (November 2023), the Sekonic RT-GX Godox Transmitter Module (B&H# SERTGX) is only designed to work in the Sekonic Speedmaster L-858D-U Light Meter (B&H# SEL858DU). The module serves as an interface between the aforementioned light meter and Godox flashes and strobes using the Godox X radio system such as the Godox Ving V860III TTL Li-Ion Flash Kit for Sony Cameras (B&H# GOV860IIIS).

Q: 2. Can I use this in a hotel room which accesses a hotel wifi? I stay in some hotels which use a log in and password.

A: Yes, this would not be a problem. This model Supports the following modes ,Router, Repeater, Client, AP, and WISP operation modes.

Q: 3. Does this unit provide connection to Broncolor Grafit & Verso power packs equipped with original RFS system?

A: I contacted Sekonic concerning your inquiry. According to Sekonic, the original RFS receiver found in the older packs such as the older Broncolor Grafit A4 RFS Power Pack and the Broncolor Verso A2 RFS Power Pack work on 900 Hz radio frequency. The new transmitters/receivers which are found in the newer kits work on RFS 2/2.1/2.2, which use the 2.4 GHz radio frequency. As such, the newer radios cannot directly communicate with the older wireless radio system, and the Sekonic RT-BR Broncolor Transmitter Module would not talk to the power packs you own. As a work-around, you may purchase a Broncolor RFS 2 Receiver, B&H # BRRFS2R, and connect it to the sync terminal on your older power packs. While you will not have power control capability, you will be able to trigger the older power packs from a Sekonic meter with the installed RT-BR Broncolor transmitter module.

Q: 4. will this work on the L-358 Meter?

A: Yes.

Q: 5. Is this version 2?

A: Yes, this would be the v2 model.

Q: 6. can you hook it up to an external monitor and stream it to a phone at the same time?

A: No, the Accsoon CineView Nano Wireless Video Transmitter does not connect to an external monitor, it connects to a phone, as well as tablets and phones running the iOS/Android App.

Q: 7. Before I buy this, I need to know if this will work with the Sekonic L-358? I see someone said yes, but when I did a search online everything I'm seeing it only works with the L858D-U.

A: No, The following unit is designed and made for the speedmaster L-858D-U Light Meter. Not the L-358.

Q: 8. Is multi camera monitoring possible?

A: Yes, the Accsoon CineView Nano Wireless Video Transmitter can connect up to four iOS or Android devices simultaneously.

Q: 9. Is it possible to use multiple cineview nano units for wirless multi cam setup for streaming? If yes what apps/devices are compatible

A: Yes, the Accsoon CineView Nano Wireless Video Transmitter would need to transmit to multiple receivers all of which would need to be connected to a multi-cam switcher.

Q: 10. Can you lock the iPhone’s screen to be in the pocket and continue to record?

A: No, when using the Accsoon CineView Nano Wireless Video Transmitter to transmit to a smart device for recording via the smart device, should the smart device be locked or closed the recording will stop.

[1.29"] It seems too small and too easy to work but it works really well. I have it working on a Sony FS7 and it's great. Just to be able to transmit video is impressive, but the additional features the app includes like false color, zebras, different aspect markers, and the ability to record on your phone push it over the top. Awesome device. Get a D-tap to USB-C 5v cable too so you don't need to power it with a bulky battery. The only minor issue is the hot shoe connector fits too loosely to really be trusted. Otherwise, get this.

[Black] I didn't think the day would come! This little gadget makes lighting life just a little simpler. I used to rely on the mobile app or the button on the RFS trigger. Both were ok but a little cumbersome for me. Measuring and triggering with one hand is much better.

[JR and XT30] Since Covid happened I've been on a really tight budget but this is well worth every red cent. I've been only shooting portraits and without this module it's been a lot of running back and forth for HSS but with this, I set my transmitters on APP and now the meter sets my transmitters. All I do now is go behind my camera, check my settings and shoot. This module is a win win tool, especially if you shoot with HSS.

[1.29"] I use Elinchrom lights and SkyPort Plus - HS. Metering the lights with this radio trigger is a real benefit. The unit allows one to change the power level on individual lights from the meter as one would from the SkyPort Plus. If you change power levels from the meter then make sure to hit refresh on the SkyPort before making any further changes to power level on the SkyPort. One note of warning, if you intend to use the meter in conjunction with an ELB400 Hi-Sync unit, please see my review of the Sekonic L-858. There are issues.

[Battery] I purchased this module for my Sekonic L-858D-U Speedmaster that I purchased last year from B&H. I thought it would be a “plug and play” type item. It was not. The current firmware in my Speedmaster would not recognize this module. The good folks at B&H directed me to Sekonic.com where I was able to download the “Data Transfer Software” and then installed the firmware to support this module. Being a beginning photographer, I also downloaded the detailed users manual for this module. My Speedmaster now works as advertised. I love it! Thank you B&H for you help and patience!

[Battery] I have 4 Godox strobes + a couple of flash units. I used the Elinchrom transmitter in the lightmeter with several Rotolights previously and couldn't wait for the Godox transmitter. Have been using it extensively since it arrived a few weeks ago and it works flawlessly.
