Q: 3. The manual says one side of the mirror glass should have a yellow sticker. My unit has no yellow sticker but does have a small sticker that says "reverse side". No clue what that means. How else can I identify which side of the mirror glass should face toward the subject?

A: The Glide Gear Face-2-Face Interview Periscope & Teleprompter Hybrid's beam splitter glass(the one way mirror) should be one directional, allowing the camera to see through one side while the other is reflective. The reflective side should be faced out towards the subject.

Q: 4. Can it be used with the interviewer sitting on both the operator and dumb side of the camera?

A: This is meant for the interviewer to be on the right or dumb side. It would require extensive, warranty-voiding modification by the user to work the opposite way.

[Download] This is kind of old school, it is literally a printed card with an alphanumeric license key on it, very 1998. You enter it manually into the Surveillance Station software. I hadn't typed a license key in like 10 years, it was kinda fun. No one likes paying licensing fees, of course. But this is fully transferable, so you can migrate it from one Synology box to another. Synology clearly puts a lot of resources into Surveillance Station, I have been running it for half a decade and it keeps evolving and improving. These products stand the test of time, my 12 year old Synology NAS not only still works, but is still supported. My Synology NVR runs better today than it did when I got it five years ago. So at least you get something for your license fee, and won't ever have to pay it again. 5
