[1x V-Mount] IT DOES FIT! Please disregard my previous review.

[99.5% DCI-P3] I have had this monitor for over a year and it really is a great monitor. It replaced a Sony 20 inch LCD broadcast monitor I was using. This might not be right for serious color finishing, but that being said the picture is really nice and you can calibrate the monitor to get the best picture possible. The monitor supports 709, and I initially used that setting with my old deckling card. I have since upgraded to but depending on your output card, I had better luck using the Ultra Studio 4k and found the 709 setting didn't work as well. I switched the color space off and dialed it in manually using color bars and was really happy with the results. The monitor has a blue only setting, and the split screen function is nice even though I haven't used it.

The hard case is really nice, and includes a sunshade and screen protector. You can remove the monitor from the case, but the monitor feet are not included and must be purchased separately. I purchased a versa mount and it works great. My only gripe is that there is no loop through on the HDMI ports, but they are included on the SDI ones. Overall a great purchase.

[Yes] This monitor is truly impressive. I extensively researched options to find the simplest and lightest 7 monitor available, and this one perfectly fit the bill. Its HDMI connectivity and remarkably bright screen make it ideal for outdoor use, surpassing both my built-in camera monitors and a smaller alternative I own. The fact that it doesn't require SDI was a non-issue for me.

While the user interface could benefit from a modern update, it's still serviceable. Navigating it can be a tad confusing due to some convoluted wording, and there are definite glitches that need addressing. One significant issue arises when outputting OSD via HDMI to the monitor: if, for instance, there's an on-screen grid from the camera, the monitor's zebra setting might mistakenly interpret the grid lines (as well as any white text in the camera's menu) as overexposed, which is rather inconvenient. Consequently, I've opted to refrain from outputting OSD and rely solely on the monitor's built-in guides.

Despite the somewhat flimsy plastic construction, it contributes to the monitor's lightweight design, which was my primary focus alongside brightness. Additionally, the monitor's aesthetic is pleasingly minimalist, with sleek bezels enhancing its overall appeal. Considering its price point, this monitor stands out as the top choice for a 7 display, provided you don't require SDI or dual battery support (I personally only needed one battery slot).

The only significant drawback I've encountered is that the monitor appears to draw power even when supposedly switched off, which is incredibly frustrating. As a workaround, I've had to use a larger battery or connect it to a D-Tap power source. On the bright side, it seamlessly switches between D-Tap AC port power and battery operation, offering some flexibility in powering options.

[99.5% DCI-P3] So, this is my second Prompter for our set. The other is a 15 Ikan. Though the Ikan is built out of better materials, I prefer this Desview 21 as does our talent. The material is of a cheaper plastic, however it is a lot easier to setup and does its job very well can is half the price.


It's a lot less of a hassle to travel with and setup than the smaller, better build quality, Ikan.


So know, you will not be getting high quality components in this price range, but if your goal is to gain a prompter with a large reading area that is easy to setup and works well, this is for you.


Please Note that we did NOT use the prompter software that this came with, so no comment on the software. We use one of the highly rated Mac Apps for our software.

[102 ppi] Again for the money this is a great product! I love how amazingly thin the screen is!

[34.305 lb] Being that it wasn’t compatible with my CPU I can’t give an accurate review. The setup was easy and quick and it has an amazing screen projection.

SDI] My old HP monitor blew a fuse or something. Needed the exact combo of internal speakers and an HDMI port for what my pc setup is. This thing hit all the notes and has been working amazingly after 3 weeks of use. Had to turn down the brightness from the start, but it's been painless calibrate my multi-monitor setup. Great purchase for me.

[Yes] I am a real estate photographer, and this is a real boon, enabling me to get a really good idea of what an image will look like, much better than from the viewfinder or LCD screen on my Nikon Z6ii.Being able to adjust brightness and to zoom using the touchscreen is great, and also the histogram is really useful. Well worth the difference in price between this and a cheap monitor (which I had previously).

[Yes] Absolute amazing, almost to bright! Had TO bring yhe backlite down under half!
And the pic. quality are second to nothing!
