A: The FUJIFILM LH-XF23-2 Lens Hood for 23mm f/1.4 LM WR Lens does not include a slide-on cover. You could use the original lens cap for the lens.

A: No, this lens hood cannot fit on the lens in the reverse. It is designed to be the correct way only.

[Bayonet] This hood can be reversed on the lens to make it easy to stow away. Hood version LH-55B is larger. When reversed version B will not mount on the lens and will remain loose. it also has a rectangular shape and is somewhat larger and looks disproportional when mounted on the lens. 5

[4 x 4 x 2.5"] After hesitating to purchase this extremely expensive Voigtlander LH-10 lens hood, I decided it was appropriate. The lens comes in its own box and wrapped in a plastic slip for future storage. The exterior black paint is quite elegant and very smooth. The superior workmanship is evident upon immediate inspection. There are micro-edges inside of the outer ring of the hood like most lens hoods and they are quite sharp - keep your fingers away. The words "LH-10" and "VOIGTLANDER" appear to be etched into the metal as the letters can be felt when smoothly running a finger over them. I can confidently say that if you are serious about pairing your beautifully crafted Voigtlander 50mm f/1.2 then you will attach its intended hood. 5

[58 mm] This hood is nice and small. It twists on and snaps in place. To remove, push down twist off. I love it. 5

[Bayonet] I always like the square hood look. This hood is sturdy due to it being metal. I think it is a little expensive for its utility. However, it's from Fuji and you are guaranteed great form and fit. 5

[4 x 4 x 2.5"] If you're gong to buy such a superb lens you may as well buy the hood that is meant to be used with it. It is pretty large, but there is no doubt that it will entirely do the job of preventing lens flare. Well designed, sturdy, fits exactly right and looks great. If you've used any of the modern Zeiss M-mount lenses and their bayonet hoods, this is similar- if not a bit heavier built. 5

[4 x 4 x 2.5"] This lens shade fits the Voightlander 50 Apo perfectly. It is exactly the same lens shade as my Zeiss 35 ZM lens, which is made in the same factory. Theyt just changed the printing. 5
