The Bridge UHD X_SH 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 Converterfrom Bridge UHD X_SH 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 Converterenables you to convert broadcast-style SDI video input for HDMI output to commercial displays. This converter supports resolutions up to DCI 4K60 and has one 12G-SDI input and one 12G-SDI re-clocked output and dual HDMI 2.0 outputs. The Bridge UHD X_SH converter has LED status indicators and is powered via the included DC power adapter.

A: This mini converter does not work that way. It only converts HDMI to SDI. Same resolution and frame rate.

A: No, the DECIMATOR 12G-CROSS 4K HDMI/SDI Cross Converter does not pass recording triggers through the converter at this time.

A: We are currently saying December time but we do not have an exact date. The SFPs are Single Mode. It is possible to use Multimode fiber for shorter lengths.

Q: 5. What is the difference between this one and the DD-HX? I'm trying to use a Black Magic G2 6k for online interviews.

A: The MD-Cross v2 also contains a test pattern generator, audio metering overlays, adjustable safe title/safe action overlays and static center cross, text overlays, graticules and UMD.

Q: 6. What's the difference between the teranex mini and Blackmagic's other converters like the mini and micro converters?

A: These are more meant to be permantely installed in an IDF or rack instead of the micro converters which are more for behind monitors, on carts etc. They can also be remotely controlled via ethernet while the simple micro converters cannot.

A: The AJA T-TAP Pro Thunderbolt 3-Powered Converter with 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 Output will appear in an NLE or other software to output footage via HDMI or 12G-SDI to another source.

Q: 8. I see the spec's say DCI 4K(4096 x 2160) but does it do UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) ?

A: Hi Mike, This is Jules from product support at Symbiosis, Decimator's master distributor for the US. The 12G-Cross supports all SMPTE formats up to and including 4K (4096) 60p. A: Yes, this is SMPTE-424M which should be both Level A and B-DL.

Q: 10. Will it work as a second monitor on a mac?

A: You can connect the extended or mirrored desktop into this converter via HDMI and connect an SDI monitor to the output if you wish.

[NTSC, PAL] The signal quality out of the T-Tap pro is outstanding -- nice to not worry about Quicktime playback gamma issues anymore. And Aja tech support is second to none. Just like a pro device should be. One thing to note is that playback through the T-Tap pro must be via compatible software e.g, Adobe Premier, or by using the Aja Control Room player software. This is not like having a another monitor on your Mac -- you can not stream videos from Safari through it or simply use the Quicktime player app with it. 5

[NTSC, PAL] We are using this for a computer output (display port to HDMI, not included). The quality is very good for HD-SDI. We have used BlackMagic in the past but this is a very good product. We have two now and have had no issues. Our old BlackMagic devices have had power supplies go bad but not the Digital Forecast device. 5

[Device: 11.8 W] This unit over the DAC-70 is a toss up but you can't power the DAC-70 with PoE but you have an HDMI loop out with the DAC-70, but it doenst have XLR/ AES outs. I'd give the Teranex Mini 10 stars if it had a HDMI loop out. 5
